When I was a kid the only roles womenfolk filled were bread rolls.
Careful, you'll have the snowflake police onto you.

That's fine, if your saying to avoid showers and changing areas.
Thankyou, you've now provided a solution to the potential issue I've raised.

Wasn't that easier than accusing people of being racist and sexist.

Jesus wept, what a snowflake kiwifruit

Did that solution really need pointing out?

I wondered how long it'd be before someone ran out of arguments and reverted to using the term 'snowflake' instead.

It was an exercise in bringing them out. There hasn't been a count up a'lately!

Ah, irony.
snowflake is just what you've labelled yourself, by having no argument other than accusing others of being sexist or racist or both.
Youve gone out of your way to be offended by something you have no right to be offended about.
Hence, snowflake

Was I offended? If you say so.
What was your poignant, insightful argument again? I must've missed it.

I don't really see the need for females to avoid showers and dressing rooms full of naked blokes. Let 'em look, that's what I say.

Ah, so you piped up with faux outrage without realising that the only point I was raising, was that there could be an issue.
Sounds just like snowflake behaviour

It’s one of those silly ideas/topics that will whither on the vine, has surely it must...

i personally think a woman is more than capable of doing the football manager job...but why would she want that kind of terrace abuse from the away fans and more importantly the home fans when things go awry, if at all they do....

Shall we all stop effing and blinding and not be coarse with our jests and Male innuendos?

Of course some will say I must be a sexist....I say to them...” go powder ya nose”  and get all quaint prettified

Men are losing their identity, all this bloody arty farty liberalism and calling anyone who doesn’t agree a name ending in “ist “

Are we all supposed to say “ oh yes that’s a great idea “ ?
Let’s not debate it as men but as “ modern men” ....I’ll get mi coat before I offend my sense of existence built within my DNA from the Saxons, the Normans and those long haired Vikings.....

No, it’s men’s football not women’s

I'll just go and support the Belles then should I?

I’m sure that is your choice, but adds little to the argument/discussion Dontcha think?

This thread reminds me why I stopped reading this forum. Some people need to realise it's 2019 not 1959.

Society might have accepted you being a sexist at one point but it no longer does. If you can't accept that then you are the snowflake, not the person pointing out your outdated views.

I see,...mmmmmm, you only want to read threads that offer little diversity , threads that conform to agendas you never subscribed to but feel aggrieved to oppose....
And furthermore, society is only a word, it means very little regarding values!
I grew up in the 60s when respect was rife, when an old age pensioner could pinpoint a voice from a gang being disrespectful.....and the mere mention of telling ya dad would cause an involuntary bowel movement...

I’m not sure what sexist actually means and I doubt many can tell me.....it’s just a word that women use to describe something they don’t like the sound of coming out of a males mouth....

Gotta go now....the wife wants a cuppa!! Lol

You can’t interpret what you read.??

Jenny is a woman, therefore to the poster who said it’s mens football not women’s, she was suggesting that as a female supporter she should only go watch the women’s game..

I am really surprised that needs explaining.!

Don't be too surprised. The idea that a female manager might not necessarily be required to shower with the team needed explaining!

It did ....probably because it wasn’t that much of a statement, and I was looking for more depth I guess....
Retdon was referring to the idea of a female football manager..
Jenny asked a random question unrelated to the Retdon statement!

Jenny May have well of said..” I’ll go shoot crows then, should I ? “

To which the answer would once again be ...( as above)

I grew up in the 80s. What I remember isn't much different. Turned out a few years later, half my teachers had been fiddling kids and everyone on tv was fiddling everything that moved whether they wanted it or not.

I wonder if what you describe is just how being a kids feels?

I still manage to understand this confusing new world mind....

Odd that, I thought Jenny was just following the thread”s development.

It was pretty damned clear to me what she meant, and I agreed with her..
