Yes that is frustrating but what else can be done.?There are two sides to every transfer deal.

Rivals such as fleetwood, Peterborough and Portsmouth did lots of businesss in the summer and they’ve already recruited good players in January, whereas we struggled in the summer so you’d like to think we had deals lined up for January but Moore states there’s nothing at the minute
To be fair he's hardly likely to publicly say they're shit and he wants rid when we still might need to call on them before the end of the month...If they are actually here when the window closes I'll be disappointed, but take this with a grain of salt.

So if he's publicly saying they are going to be here and "long may it continue" then I fear the worst. Also when Alfie May was allowed to leave before we had replacements in the building, one reason given was that because we were a nice club we couldn't stand in his way. I'm guessing a nice club like ours wouldn't want to string these two guys along if there was nothing for them here. Surely we would tell them early, so they could get fixed up somewhere else?
Talking to their agents? About what? Surely, we’re not even considering signing these two?

He was being his normal polite self!

DM goes on to say that we are discussing extensions with their agents.

Yes but listen to the rest of it, at no point does he say we're looking at extending their contracts. He says, 'both players are looking to extend their contracts'. He doesn't say we are. He then says his focus has been on the festive period. and concludes by saying 'its a discussion that has to be had with the two players and their advisors', 'and as when we're a bit clearer on that we'll come back to you'.So, were does he say what DRFC want to do?

I hope you are right and DRFC don't want to.
Although as you relayed to us yesterday we should help them in their career as we did with May? Keeping them here all month when we don’t want them wouldn't be paramount to doing our best for them

Keeping them here all month when we don’t want them wouldn't be paramount to doing our best for them Completely different scenario. And do you not think we are helping them with their career by keeping them around? Now, if they had an offer from Cheltenham for example, I'm sure we'd release them from their contracts.
