I think Rodney Johnson got a hat trick in his first game for us.
A 0-3 win at Crewe. He was definitely at least a class above that day.

Bruno did the same at Carlisle did'nt he?
He joined us a while before that, his debut was at Rochdale but did get three there on debut.

Wasn't that Rochdale?
The famous thrice taken penalty game?

Might have been dale, but sure it was different match to thrice penalty.

Edit:see Idlers post, explains it,I got mixed up a bit,his debut was Dale(probably thrice pen game) hat trick was Carlisle away but not debut, think it was first game of season which confused me with debut.

According to BBC possession was 48/52% in their favour. Really? Not important though, is it?

I could be wrong, but our style of play doesn't appear to rely on large amounts of possession

Very comfortable victory.
That could easily have been six or seven one.

Excellent performance that. Paul Goodwin made a great point: what a luxury it is to have a player like Copps to come on for the second half and influence the game like he did.

I think I’m more excited for this season than I have been for quite a while. Darren Moore knows his craft.

Two glaring misses and two other great chances to make it eight!

Excellent, some of the quick one touch passing was a joy to watch, Fejeri should have scored and JJ should have been selfish, but I’ll take 4-1 😀😀😀

Excellent all round, only thing for me, was the body language of fey when he came on. Just seemed a tad off it.  He's got a lot to offer this season, I just hope warming the bench early season hasn't dented his confidence...

Agreed.
Finishing that chance off would have made a massive difference to him.

A very polite request, when we score could you also put who scored thanks. Difficult when you are not able to watch live for whatever reason.

That will be the real test, ...

At the moment if a player makes an error, he will hear the advice being given either from DM or his team mates....and lift his head and get on with it.....
Rather than the collective groan and unbridled advice from the terraces..

We fans can be the 12th man....and executioner!

Hopefully fans now realise that being positive and players will react in that same manner
