He's got a left foot like a 70's Bentley Bullet.

Interesting dynamic though, just how many of our players playing midfield are left footed.  We have decent numbers in there now.  When Gomes is back fit it's a strong midfield (Bostock, Smith, Gomes, Richards, Coppinger are all very good at this level) and then add James who can play in there plus a few youngsters we have decent depth.  The key obviously is there not being 3-4 of them out at the same time (like tonight).

I'm very excited about the lads potential - no half way house here - will either be one of our best signings ever - or an absolute flop, Here's hoping.

We don't. He, starts on the bench unless DMs hand is forced by injury. He has to fight for a place like everyone else.

I would imagine with his lay off, he'll be eased back in gradually anyway.

He is 50-50 for Saturday, but Gomes and Lokilo both ok.

I take your point but the way DM is talking then JB will be a nailed on starter when fit. Its going to tough leaving one of the current three out. I reckon Matt Smith would have to be the one to make way...eventually.

There won't be one player who makes way though. Darren likes to try many different combinations and he will do that. Some games it will be Bostock instead of Smith, others it will be instead of John with James at left back or some other change we wouldn't even think of.

There is no dead-set first XI at this club anymore, and it has worked for us this season. How many automatic starters are there besides Tom Anderson? I'd argue a case that everybody else is likely to sit out a game or two in the coming weeks.

Have to give a bit of credit to Gazlaz. He was the first on here to mention that name.

You get credit for that, wow!

With all the false rumours flying around, Martin, it was nice for someone to be right for a change.

All those WAPs in the Rumour Mill do my head in as well, because they're not really rumours, they're just suggestions.
