Welcome (back) to Doncaster JB...

Quote from my mate who’s a Forest fan:
“Yeah he’s decent. Be a great Whiteman replacement. Sit at the base and spray it around. Good passer, not the most mobile. Have to think he’d be top class in league 1 to be honest. Seems a good pro to boot”

"Bostock did not sign in time to be eligible for Tuesday evening's match against AFC Wimbledon."

Appears to tick a lot of boxes. Short term issue of him not playing any football for several months, but he looks a great signing certainly for League One.

I like the fact that DM knew the lad previously and that he was able to persuade him to sign up...
Looking at some of his videos on You Tube, he certainly has the potential....... let's hope he can get fit quick and help us in our push for promotion....

"Bostock did not sign in time to be eligible to make his debut against AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday night but Moore insists he would not have risked his new signing in the game regardless“

Also note DM has been preparing for this for 'months'. As we've said all along, of course he was aware that Ben could be on his way and has prepared for it. No doubt he may have explored other midfield options too.

Before I say this and get hit with the pelters, I just want to say that I think this has the potential to be a really good signing, congratulations to all involved in the signing and I’m really looking forward to seeing a player who should be a class above in this league.

But if we’ve been “planning this for months”, why have we only signed him almost two weeks after Whiteman left? Especially given he’s a free agent. Regardless, hopefully he’s at least had the opportunity to train with us prior to signing so that he’s had the chance to get to know his teammates and pick up his fitness.

Looks a very good player for this level, and seems to pass in a similar progressive style to Taylor Richards, this could get interesting. Welcome to DRFC JB.

This has the potential in playing terms to be an upgrade on Whiteman

Maybe the lad had other options and we had to wait for him? He was playing in the Championship last season.

Looking at some of his YouTube vids, looks like he's a complex character. Bags of skill but looks like he has been living in shadow of his potential for sometime. Appears to have got his act together abroad for a while.

I sincerely hope he's able to use his experience to influence those around him in a positive way and show what a good player he really is.

Not too different back story from Oster. Although Oster did shoot a team mate in the face. Still, Oster turned out well for us.

I think Smith’s performances will improve just by having him alongside, guiding.

Here”s hoping his gaffer and the fans give this guy the platform that has eluded him to feel
happy and secure to enable him to express his talent freely .

Could be a serious signing this!! Happy that it’s 18 month too!

Was expecting a short term shop window type deal but pleasantly surprised.

Let’s have a decent striker and Sims and I think we will be there or there abouts.
