Weren’t saying that about Richards when he was rolling winners into the net every game 4 or 5 weeks ago.

That's fair, but I'm commenting on tonight and his general play over several games. As I said, he has great ability but he doesn't show it often enough. He is clearly capable of being a terrific player at a high level but he has a ways to go and he isn't going to get there in the next two months, which means it might not benefit Rovers at all if he ever gets there.

Tonight was always going to be tough with us not having a recognised striker on the pitch and crewe were unbeaten at home in 10 games before tonight.

Think richards does well when picking the ball up from deep and running at the defence which he did well tonight but didn’t get the shot off when he needed to, he does need to get better defensively tho, he gives too many unnecessary free kicks away.

Jones played well and lokilo always looked dangerous when on the ball looking to take his man on every time he got it and also put a few decent corners in one of which we scored from and shouldn’t have been disallowed.

Bad decisions from the officials cost us that game today. Our goal should’ve been allowed as it was the crewe player who pushed the keeper and their goal he looked way offside.
