Butler having a good game. He does the basics so well, which is what we need.
An important tackle from him there in the box.

That's how low the bar's been set. Don't care about performance just not losing would be a massive step forward

Garbage?! It’s a hell of an improvement on recent performances.
You can expect them to be lacking in confidence but this certainly isn’t garbage.

Much better than recent performances but we're still absolutely hopeless in the final third.

Improvement yes, but still shite! Cant string basic passes together and still an inability to create anything. The only difference here is the scoreline. Performancewise nothing has changed in my opinion.

Taylor Richards looks a lot more committed than recently, he’s covering a lot of ground and causing them problems.
Problem is he can’t or won’t tackle. If he could add that to his game then we would have a player.
He is a luxury player most of the time.

Richards again tackling back, much better from him.
I must have missed that. His attempted tackles are woeful imo.

But yes he looks more committed.

The performance is secondary. If they can just find a way to somehow not lose, then it would be a huge confidence boost.

To be honest the most important thing is we win. We are not going to to produce brilliant football with the run we are on. We just want 100% commitment and a little bit of luck to get us the 3 points.

Agreed. I am just pointing out the fact that we are still terrible on the eye. Whilst i dont expect to suddenly turn up and wipe the floor with teams but i cant sit here and say we are much better because we are not.
