Gary Johnson would be decent in my opinion. International experience could be so many, Peter Reid, Stuart Pearce, Peter Taylor to name a few.

I have it on good authority that the job has been offered and is awaiting an answer from a previously linked coach before Moore. Apparently Des Buckingham who was spoken with previously is the person offered the role and fits the description.

Quick google search shows a recent article from Sky Sport - https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12232440/des-buckingham-interview-new-zealand-u20-world-cup-success-and-olympic-hopes-to-city-football-group

Article linking him to the club last time around - https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7192797/Young-English-coach-Des-Buckingham-demand-New-Zealand-20s-success.html

I saw his name last night & would be happy with him.

Not to doubt your sources, Carl, but I'm pretty sure the club is still whittling down the numbers to interview etc.

Have to wait & see!

Would be a complete gamble if they went for him.

He might have got an interview but he won't have been offered anything yet.

To be fair, whoever we appoint will be a gamble.

Bullshit. The club wouldn't draw up a shortlist and interview people if the job has already been offered elsewhere.

They went through the process before when they knew Moore would get it all along.

I don’t get it why some posters have to show aggression Gaz.
The lad might well have some info from what he believes to be a good source and is just sharing it.

And I'm sharing my opinion of his "source's" information. Not my opinion of a one-post member.

This would be a very boring site if posters didn’t occasionally come up with snippets of gossip.

Strange then that you qualified your “bullshit” comment with an opinion of what the club wouldn’t do.
Either way it was still an aggressive response.

I doubt very much that the job has been offered yet. But, whilst I appreciate it’s something of a wildcard name, if the process determined that he was the most appealing candidate then I’d be delighted with this appointment. Sometimes you have to take a bit of a punt, and he’s certainly shown a willing to work and gain experience.

I’m surprised that the Glasers didn’t buy them.

The bookies odds don't look very thrilling. I'd be happy to see Wellens get the role, but as for the rest of the top names...

On wiki - Buckingham is a qualified pilot, and holds a Master's degree in advanced performance football coaching through the University of South Wales.

Not a fool and we are sorted for shorter jouneys on away trips.

I should probably add I've just got Des added by SkyBet on Twitter.

Did you not watch Class of 92 about Salford City then? Highly recommend it, thought it was brilliant.

Came across as a pair of tools these two mind.
