Old Stabber
« on September 28, 2021, 10:23:22 am by selby »
Looks to be ageing quickly in the short time he has been trying to pull this lot of no marks together, he has aged 10years in 18 months facially and the hair is greying fast, he wants to get out fast before he really goes down hill.

I'm quite shocked really selby, you try to give the impression of an upstanding citizen but worship at the feet of a racist that couldn't be trusted by any of his partners.

Syd, I don't even know anyone I would class as racist.you might be the nearest to a racist person  because you are against the British people who voted democratically Tory and to exit the EU, and you have continually for six years shown your loathing and hatred of them , luckily I don't know you or really wish to. I expect a diatribe reply because you seem to think that the last post is a winner, and is usually an insult of some kind so crack on love.

Just listened to his speech on the radio at the Labour Party conference, it was boring ( Stabber comes over as a poor orator,) and he was being heckled by the parties own supporters,  he has no chance the party is dying.

Fear not Selby Keith's speech was warmly welcomed except for a couple of hecklers who the centre jackbooted Gestapo haven't frog marched to the back of the building to be immediately shot .

We are in preaching to the converted territory now .

This lying , untrustworthy snake of a man is at least their lying , untrustworthy snake of a man so by definition he's apparently credible .

That's tribalism for you I guess .

If Johnson and Starmer face off at the next GE it will be a battle of who is the least lying , untrustworthy snake of a man .

The country deserves better .

Should be an easy enough test for Starmer if it's between the two of them!

I can’t speak for Tyke but there are a number of reasons here:

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.indy100.com/politics/keir-starmer-keith-labour-party-b1848650%3famp

My personal favourite is ‘ ‘Keith’ has come to epitomise Starmer’s beige banality. A man with all the charm of the pub bore, who’d find himself outperformed by a talking potato sack. His nasal delivery gives him the sound of a Poundland Ed Miliband, who was himself a Poundland Gordon Brown.’

I’m really surprised, Billy, that as a Labour member, and Twitter lover, you ‘genuinely’ weren’t aware of any of this.

Sir Keir Starmer has outperformed Boris Johnson in his first in-person conference speech as Labour leader, according to an exclusive poll for Sky News.

The poll by Opinium, conducted after the speech, found 63% of respondents agreed with what Sir Keir had to say, 57% said he came across as strong, 62% say it showed him as competent and 68% said it shows he cares about ordinary people.

The numbers outperform Mr Johnson's first conference speech in 2019.

After that speech, three months after he became PM, 51% agreed with what Mr Johnson had to say, 52% said it showed he was strong, 46% said he came across as competent and 37% said it showed him as caring about ordinary people.

He isn't worthy of the name Keir , it's as simple as that .

If you know your Labour history then it's not that hard to figure out .

Unsurprisingly you had to ask .

Says it all .

Wilts. That’s like a poll on here deciding that my first ever post on this forum was better than yours.
It begs the question: So what?

Then why not call him "Starmer" if that is what you believe?

It's a serious question.

Argue with the actual issues, by all means. Argue with the policies or the political philosophy. But by doing this, you opt out of grown up discussion and turn it into an act of argument by belittling.  By engaging in that sort of playground name calling, you kind of make yourself look silly and you are better than that.

Why would it even bother you how I refer to him ?

He's made himself plus Mandelson an political opponent .

I get to call him what the hell I like under such circumstances .

Keith has decided to make an enemy out of me .

Nobody but nobody provoked this until Mandelson came along .

I absolutely won't get in to line , feck him the lying , untrustworthy snake .

I guess this doesn't make any difference to you byke as I know you must have read it a few times as an active political animal.

''Starmer was born in London and raised in Surrey, where he attended the selective state Reigate Grammar School, which became an independent school while he was a student. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leeds in 1985 and gained a postgraduate Bachelor of Civil Law degree at St Edmund Hall at the University of Oxford in 1986.

After qualifying for the bar, Starmer acted exclusively as a defence lawyer, specialising in human rights issues as a member of Doughty Street Chambers, before being named a Queen's Counsel (QC) in 2002. In 2008, he became Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and Head of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), holding these roles until 2013. On conclusion of his five-year term as Director of Public Prosecutions, he was appointed Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath (KCB) in the 2014 New Year Honours''

Human rights, DPP what has he done to earn his place in society .................

Apart from two occasions, (which I strongly disapprove of), in the HOC I'm not aware of any direct lies by Starmer.  Do you have a list?

p.s. don't include those by his front benchers, (again, ones I don't approve of), just direct lies by Starmer himself.

Yet another thread initiated by a persistent WUM with no other motive than to wind up certain individuals.

No substance to the thread, no facts, no reasonable argument put forward, just a pathetic provocation which of course results in a predictable string of responses by its intended target(s) so that the originator can have his bit of fun.

And once again the quality of the forum is degraded.

I hope someone's happy.

WUM? An ex-trade unionist and genuine socialist. No facts? No reasonable argument?

Come on then; what's your opinion of Starmer's attempt to alienate the whole of the left in the Labour Party? What's your opinion of the fact that he practically wiped out the whole of the red wall in the North and North-East with the sh*te he spouted about a second referendum, when he was Shadow Brexit Secretary, making the next GE almost impossible to win under his leadership?

Let's hear your reasonable argument.

Are you forgetting jc just put labour's chances at the next election to the far side of the moon Steve, the left are not in control of the party because they made such a dog's breakfast of that election and I presume not enough can be arsed to help.
