No excuse for having young players that clearly are not ready for league football, let's hope the same mistakes are not made next year

Much of our problems this season are down to injuries, not sure how that comes under “mistakes”.?
[/quote  it's been the same all season not filling the bench or having the kids on bench, we had something like 6 trialists playing the game before the season started it's wrong it's not how a professional club should be run

He means the mistake of an unknown person signing six young players before the manager could assess them.

And I mean that the young players would only be on the fringe of the squad if it wasn’t for the huge amount of injuries..

Gillingham at Rovrum, Morecambe at Sunderland. 3 points and the tables going to look at lot better for us.

1-0 Gills. We can't catch a break!

Rovrum will still win that...

Millers now 2-1 up! Things are now looking better.  :)

Galbraith, Rowe Anderson credit. Putting in a shift.
Comical defending for the goal.
Could be three down.
Cukur offers nothing. Wasteful. Clueless.

Was just about to say we had started quite well in the first 15 minutes and we’ve gifted them a goal.

Had we? I'm quite sure we haven't been in their penalty area yet, and can hardly string 3 passes together.

It’s all relative isn’t it?
The first 15 minutes we were doing ok.
The second 15 minutes we haven’t.

Well that's what I mean. I don't think we were doing okay, we just weren't making massive mistakes. The expected standard from us all has dropped massively over this past few months.

Sorry, I’ll make sure next time to say “I thought we were doing ok for the first 15 minutes ... but obviously not as well as when we beat Aston Villa in the League Cup”.

If Cukor comes out for the second half, I will be forced to self harm.

I have seen some shite watching Rovers, but there is a limit.
There is shite with effort, and shite without!

It may be true but is it likely to increase the team's performance?

The answers no btw.

Rubbish again, not unexpected.  Not sure what more mcsheffrey can do. He's at least trying to tweak things. Looked better when we went to a back 4. Blythe looks well out of his depth and Cukur is just Cukur. May as well bring Bogle/Dodoo on and go old school long ball.

This has to be the worst starting 11 in football league history? Our 2 wing backs are getting absolutely terrorised, the midfield have no options and the front 3 arent pressing together or making runs when we do have the ball.

Oxford 72% possession
Rovers Aerial  duels won 27%. I would fancy winning one header in four.

What’s the point in going to support your team if you’re going to chant nonsense like that.
I’ve said it before some of our supporters are an embarrassment

Excuse me whilst I pull up my soap box but I think thats irrelevant. I was fortunate and unfortunate enough to be a teenager on the Pop in the mid/late 90's so you can imagine I saw it all from Colin Cramb, Paul Birch and (dare I say it) Darren Moore to David Smith, Paul Conlon and the Esdailles.

In all events the players came out to a rousing "Doncaster, Doncaster, Doncaster" chant and then we ran through a 1-11 chant for each player. Occasionally we'd give a bit of grief to the opposition fans and some light hearted chat with an opponent like Dean Saunders or Phil Stant. Whilst the future was bleak the support was unwavering and the humour was gallows.

This "banter" age of going after opposition players, opposition fans and amazingly our own players and academy players just leaves me indifferent tbh. I don't advocate blind support of all we do and all the players on here but I just sense some fans are rocking up these days and are licking their lips at the prospect of sticking a proverbial knife into someone.
