We’ve had a few “that must be the worst bench we’ve put out since being back in the football league” posts this season, but is that the worst (or, being kind, least experienced) starting XI? Certainly a bold move by McSheffrey but 2 rookies in the back 4, a midfield 3 including Hasani & Smith and Barlow supporting Cukur really doesn’t inspire me with any confidence. Hopefully the players getting a chance have done something to suggest they’re worth it in training and it turns out to be a master stroke.

Looking at that first 11 plus bench how any right minded supporter can think we will get a result tonight is beyond me injuries have devastated the squad.

He has had to rest Dodoo and Hiwula even though people think they are rubbish at least we can see what they will do from the bench if required. Let’s see what Bogle can do if required.

Wow that’s the worst line up I can remember in well over a decade. Sad times at DRFC

Two hours later and we're all leaving the Keepmoat with grins on our faces after we've beaten Oxford 3-0.

I fancy Barlow to knock one in tonight. I’d still be surprised if we get anything out of the game mind you.

That starting line-up looks like the most uninspiring forward line I’ve seen for many years.

Gillingham at Rovrum, Morecambe at Sunderland. 3 points and the tables going to look at lot better for us.

Looks like a very poor crowd.  Something special needed in coming weeks to change this.

Correction: if Tommy is playing up front that gives me more hope.

Maybe we're parking the bus somewhat but hope the lads can fight and make a good game of it.

Was just about to say we had started quite well in the first 15 minutes and we’ve gifted them a goal.

Fair play for conceding a goal where their winger was on his arse with two of our players around him and then somehow playing in his team mate to stroll by another two players.

Lost count of how many times we’ve been guilty of that this season.
