Injuries cannot be avoided, these are humans not robots. However, it is more than a little concerning that we have heard “worse than originally thought” on more than one occasion this season. The drifting return dates for our more talented players is not good.

Jesus. It's happening again. Free Press saying Anderson has had a flare up of an injury from earlier in the season. No timeline for return yet, can't say. We've heard this one before and know where it ends up.
This is beyond a joke. What is going on. Even one of our fitness coaches has got a hamstring injury so Greeny will not be doing any fitness work with the players.

As was entirely predictable, Anderson is now confirmed as being out injured longer term, back in February at the very earliest. As we know from bitter experience, this likely means we will not see him again this season.

It's like we've no idea how to treat injuries so they get worse or just don't heal quickly. I don't know enough to be critical but our injury situation is beyond a joke since the start of the season so something or someone needs to change.

In sport you understand there's an element of luck however at a certain point it's not luck it's just poor performance. Whether that's been bottom of the division for a manager or constantly having half the team out for the medical team

Getting injured is largely down to (bad) luck, but what is consistently happening is players get injured and the first assessment we get is that they will be back next week / soon. Then everything goes quiet until an announcement is put out to the effect that they are out for the next month, then more often than not it is followed by "no timeline for return". I notice it has also gone very quiet on both Close (minor knock) and Taylor (came back and played) who you would expect to have been fit around now, but we will almost certainly not see again this side of Easter.

Of those that are out injured, we as yet have no even vague timeline for return - Fejiri, John, Bostock, Close and Anderson.
