Calling for a change of ownersip of a club with no assets except the players? Yep there is a queue around the block just eaiting for the opportunity to buy the money pit called Doncaster Rovers

With all due respect Raven I find that " whose going to buy us ? " to be a bit of a myth in football .

There are plenty of people who want to own football clubs and your club is as good as an example as there is as it's had different ownerships over the years .

So has ours .

Whether they prove to be any better than the current ones , willing to invest more and have the club at heart  is more the question in my opinion .
Tyke our owner has said on numerous ocassions that the club is for sale to the right buyer. Now we are not privy to dealings with the owner but we have not heard of offers being made and refused. Anyone buying a footbal club tends to do so to make a profit there are not many benefactors about these days who do it to solely provide entertainment for the masses. As you say there are people out there wanting to buy football clubs but very few who would want to buy clubs the likes of Rovers

The late Patrick Cryne said the same thing Raven that my club was always for sale and nothing was ever reported .

Within months of his illness diagnosed as terminal we were under new ownership .

Do you know what you are dead right there, putting it politely and with the greatest respect I don't really give a toss about Barnsley we have enough on our own plate

How would we hear anything? We never hear anything from our board.

There was a 23 minute interview with one of our board members in the last couple of days. And a meet the owners event within the last couple of months. When you spout such obvious nonsense it really dilutes any other more valid points you might make elsewhere.

An interview with the CEO yes.
As for the MTO other than what was posted on here, how would the majority our supporters (who are not members of this forum) know about it?

DRFC Newsletter by email
In the local press and radio.
Twitter etc.
But apart from that, nothing.
