Usually do it before 7 am when I feel at most ",alert," but got waylaid

Was 7 pm before I remembered I hadn't done it ... then boom .. rubbish. 2 possibilities were there but I picked 5 letters just to see if that would help but they didn't.

Then on last row I saw amaze yahoo I thought but it said wrong " agape." which was fitting as I felt like A Grape APE

The choice of guess 2 "made" my guess 3 a formality. Couldn't see any other word that might fit (but there probably was)

Worldle in 1 !!!! Not a shape I recognized but I had to start somewhere and hunched it was **** and it WAS

My memory is so crap I had to look back at todays word. As i see it i didnt need to remember that word any more so bin it mentally

Anyway - yes never struck me - I see the problem with last 4 letters right and it goes to show its how you get there .

I was helped with my 3rd row - and it made me find todays word without spotting the other possibilities !
