I used to go fishing to River Trent with a (then) near neighbour.

For 10 years every time we passed a Nottinghamshire boundary he would ALWAYS say " Welcome to Robin Hood County a F*****G DEAD TREE  " out loud always with the emphasis on those last 3 words

To this day I still think of that as I enter Nottinghamshire and I say out loud if by myself " a f*****g dead tree" . There no hope for me as I will still smile or laugh as well

Reading Twitter early doors and woman had posted the pattern she got minus the letters of course BUT ....

she said tough one today until I got the strange last letter then simples.

So it threw me and ended up not playing my own game. Got lucky on Row 3 when I tried the first letter of today's word as the last letter as well , even though it isn't / wasn't weird and Bingo a 2 and 2 mugs and she was right it was solved in a millisecond after that

I will leave Twitter alone till I've done Wordle in the future
