I've just done it. It's a glorified WordSearch.
It was too easy for the likes of us.
 I hate it.
(Well that de escalated very quickly).

I hate word searches.
When I was on nights on Ward 10, I worked with a bloke who spent all the quiet times doing them.
They bore me to tears.

Likewise, Tommy. Absolutely no jeopardy in them at all. You have the list of words to look for and you know they're already in the grid for you. A reasonable way of introducing small children to puzzling but otherwise banal.

Back to Wordle and I got a quick 3 today. Although for the second time this week I thought I was nailed on for a 2 based on my first guess.

Totally agree about Wordsearch Mike_F.
I could never be bothered with them but my daughter was obsessed with Wordsearches between the ages of around 8 and 12, and I'm convinced that helped her to build her vocabulary and improve her spelling.

Bit more info on Strands. It's not a traditional wordsearch in that there isn't a list of words to find.
The puzzle has a clue that gives you the theme of the answers in the grid. You have to find the words yourself.
Have a look at it yourselves and let me know if you think I've been too harsh about it.
