Knoyle recovering from illness. No word on Galbraith yet.

Galbraith has been garbage for months now. Actually no loss with the other players available

I tend to agree Padge. He has had the odd good game but he is so one footed it’s a detriment to his game. The amount of times he ends up going sideways across the pitch to a dead end because he doesn’t seem to either want, or be able to use his left foot. It’s so frustrating. He clearly has talent to play at international level but he is holding himself back

Have to begrudgingly agree. It doesn't help that he's alongside other diminutive middle men such as Smith etc but yes, not been that good for a while now. Thought he did well at Cambridge though for the most part, until their third at the death.

My mate does too. He does something like registering from another country or summat like that. Don't quite understand it but he gets every game live but goes to nearly all home games.

I wonder what our chances are of keeping Martin for next season. Really impressed with him.

Probably because we have such crap manager.  ;)

I really hope and I do think GM will prove you wrong.

Absolutely. Our only creative player. At least GM acknowledged this and rectified it today.

Absolutely total fair play to GM so far. Made some questionable changes and selections again IMO but he is brave enough to make them and he should get the plaudits when it goes right. Only half time of course but so pleased for the travelling Rovers more than anything just to have something to cheer about and rub the mackems noses in it.

Keep it tight second half and a job very well done from GM and the players today.  :scarf:

Keep playing how we are & don’t drop deep. Another 20 minutes with a clean sheet & Sunderland fans will really get on their players backs. Booed them off at half time.

Any news on how Mitchell is doing today? Obviously he hasn't conceded but overall game? Shots saved? Crosses taken etc?

Bizarre management from the Sunderland caretaker boss. Two down and only made one sub on 61 despite having Defoe on the bench. Haha what a knob.

His management of time is brilliant too, going down, killing the game, loved when he went down injured to kill the game a bit, knowing he doesn’t need to go off.

Really impressed with his street smarts

Cheers hound. Will do him the world of good keeping a clean sheet today and i'd have gone with Jones and been completely wrong so credit to GM. He must have been under pressure to pick Jones and if Mitchell had a shocker today, GM would have got it in the neck from some fans, including myself so full credit to GM for making the right call thus far and giving Mitchell the chance to redeem himself and prove himself which i'm sure Mitchell will get a lot of confidence from. Keep it tight just a bit longer !

Brilliant result. What a confidence booster that should be.

Have to win v Ipswich and Pompey and we can believe in the miracle.

I know we are 99% down but it’s that 1% that kills you.

What are they saying on the Sunderland forum?...

It's Doncaster at home. It's a shameful unmitigated disaster without reprieve.

Hoho.
