Seems a very generous offer, DS and JC must have a good opinion of this player.

I think most were expecting a deal till the end of the season as in prove yourself worthy of a longer term deal.

Is this buying for a prospective playoff/promotion, to play at a higher level?

Not a problem with this signing yes not been prolific but neither was Marquis when he 1st came apart from his loan spell I think at Northampton,

Griffiths has never been fit, he’s never looked anywhere near fit

His career is an absolute mystery. No idea what he would play like if fit. Always seems to be at least half a season away from being able to keep up with play.

A good opportunistic move by the club .Well done Danny to have made this astute  capture and may he continue his goal scoring , enjoy his football and help cheer up those fans that are in need of an uplift of morale .

Personally think it will end up another Bogle/Agard signing but hopefully I'm wrong.

Need a midfielder now IMO big time.

Frustrating Knoyle left. It would be the first time on Saturday with Owulu our best 5 at the back would have played together.

Totally agree that we need central midfielder(s) before the window closes, in respect to Knoyle, Browns’s stats are better in every aspect than Knoyle’s and he’s had a couple of weeks training so I’m not too concerned about that position

We need 2 desperately, we needed 1 this window anyway but with Clayton going need 2 now.

What now for Agard and Griffiths?
Both were bad signings who was involved in the decision. The length of contract was wrong aswell.
GMC said Agard was too good to miss yet never played him and when he did he wasn’t good enough.
When Griffiths first played he showed nothing injuries and he still shows nothing.
I’m not sure who will have them as a loan they are not good enough for the National league.

What will show which way the club is heading is which players accept new contracts and what players we can attract next summer

The 18 month could cover the fact that Agard and or Griffith could be on their way out at season end.(loan)

Like that all our signings are ready to contribute from day one. We signed 8 last Jan and most hadn’t played for months they were all completely pointless signings looking back.

Griffiths has been a massive let down for me. Had high hopes but hasn't delivered apart from the goal at Sunderland.
He is a big lad but feel to big that it affects his movement. The game against Barnsley this season He was atrocious with the ball at his feet.

Griffiths was a poor signing, how long can we wait for him to come good? I still think Agard could be a decent impact sub if we had a decent midfield.

Think Lavery is a shrewd signing. Was never really fussed about Agard but I thought Griffths would tear this league to pieces especially with a full pre season. Unfortunately he got injured in pre season and has shown naff all since then, albeit he has been unlucky with injuries.

Griffiths needs to increase his reps and lower the weight in the gym drastically

Griffiths has been a real disappointment, I think he has the ability but the injuries haven’t allowed him to gain confidence in himself. There is still room for him in the squad if he can get fit.

I agree with Griffiths. He needs a run of games to get match fit. Then we will see what he can really do.
