I have to agree with Stocks also. Very similar feelings from us. It feels like we’re just watching bodies on a pitch. Could be anyone. They don’t feel like Rovers players. I don’t get on the edge of my seat when we attack or barely muster a cheer if we do manage a goal. I just feel numb to it all. We did have a good laugh on occasion however, at the total lack of any quality.I’ll still keep showing up though, for now, cos that’s what we do. But getting harder and harder, especially as I lost dad in September who I went with every week. Things have to change quick to bridge that gap between the club and fans.
Myself and 3 others all have had season tickets for the last 15 years plus. We didn’t go today’s game and also missed around 3 to 4 home games each this season. The excitement just isn’t there anymore. I would rather sit at home in the warm watching Soccer Saturday checking my bets off. I’m totally disillusioned with the club and just don’t see myself rushing to watch a game any time soon. The enjoyment factor is well and truly over. I feel totally disconnected from the club, there is no ambition from the top down and we are going to stagnate into a lower half league 2 club.
Was any of the board there today?
It's easy to go all Mike Bassett and just say if there were more people who shouted on the pitch then we would miraculously improve, but there is genuinely a question over leaders. Who are the leaders out there? None of them appear to be overly concerned by losing. It's just baked in now that losing is a fact of life that they are mere observers to rather than participants.
There was none in that 1st half. The players were just going through the motions. What is DS saying to them before the game starts. He should have them fired up so they do come out from min 1 with fight, passion & desire.Saw none of that. We were playing a team with a shocking away record and we once again made it easy for them. Simply unacceptable.2nd half better but it couldn’t be worse. We huffed and puffed and couldn’t knock the house down.I said on 75 mins we would concede in injury time and lose. I got wrong they did it with time to spare. I don’t know where we go from here. DS neede to show what he is made of because the performances are way below what these players are capable of.
The whole thing feels half arsed and shambolic. Catering - today half shut in the South and then at half time there were no chips available! How do you not cook the food in time for the break?Scoreboard still broken, been like it for months. Look round to the large board to check the time and most of the time its got an advert on it. Not helpful. PA system shocking quality, can%u2019t hear the music or make out what the announcer is saying. A sustainable club that is sliding down the leagues with no sign of any improvement on the horizon. One inexperienced or unsuitable manager after another managing a team of inexperienced or unwanted players. Somehow still deciding a MotM after a performance like that and just after we have just thrown the game away - read the room, just dont bother naming one on these occasions. If we cant go to a game expecting to beat bloody Hartlepool who the hell can we expect to beat?

Thats me done that. I know this is sh!thousery to the "propper supporters" but thats genuinley me done. I love this club more than anybody. I fell in love with it and have been in love with it for around 28 years. For me its not just about getting out to watch a game on a Saturday afternoon, it runs a bit deeper. My Dad (Lesonthewest) took me to my first game at a very young age and it was always a propper family thing going to the Rovers with my Mum, Dad, Brother, Grandad, Uncle and Cousins and we have supported them through thick and thin. We were very lucky to see an era of a fan taking over and having real drive for the footballing side of the club. My Dads birthday today and we celebrated watching whatever that performance was. In stages we had to chuckle in disbelief at what we were watching. Me and my brother were late getting served at HT and missed the first few minutes of the second half finishing our drinks and there were shed loads of people just stood having a chinwag while the game was playing out. That at any football club should never happen. I now just feel like i dont even know what im supporting anymore and i wont be spending my money on it, and thats not because weve lost and im angry.... its because i honestly sit there game in, game out, bored to death and anyone saying they love going to the games are frankly lying or have a screw loose. When that goal went in i was numb and not because it was cold. Its absolutely appalling.
