are closing Glanford Park for non match days and going to start training at Ilkeston
I’d back em to beat us at minute
Just a glimpse of the future for Rovers? Not enough support, get out of the ECO Power and get a cheaper ground to be "sustainable.
The grant from the FA towards the academy is bigger than the moneys spent on the academy, guess where the rest goes at most clubs, and this season u14s going to Premiership clubs the fees paid for them is higher than the same number of any first team players would bring in probably with the exception of Faulkner who's value has been undermined by our thick management who couldn't market a dead pig, and Goodman who it remains to be seen how the dunderheads market him. I would say that the only part of the club that has potential and market value at the moment is the academy, and we seem to be doing our best as a club to undermine and p*ss off a number of excellent coaches and junior players parents are looking on wondering just what the hell is going off. And from the comments above it seems that the great unknowing who never watch or take an interest in that side of the club would dispose of it and the young players at the drop of a hat. Be careful what you wish for the Goodman's and Faulkner's and some good prospects following behind are at present your only bright spot in what is fast becoming a self inflicted sh** show to oblivion and what is being put forward without any knowledge how things work would only quicken the process up, while in the EFL the academy is a net contributor to this club and gets nothing from the first team or club Doncaster, in fact contributes to the full club with little to no recognition for the coaches that run the academy or the lads that play for us. The main reason very few get through to the first team is most of our managers Gary Mcsheffrey the exception didn't and have not until backed into a corner had the B**locks to give them a chance while pandering and pushing loan players no better from other clubs.

On current trajectory it would suit both clubs purposes better than the status quo. From there we can eventually get back to Town Fields/Deaf School, our "spiritual home"

AND it goes down as often as them

Dickos you’re in denial. You really can’t support what’s going on at present. There is no one who has been more supportive of the board than me over the years, but come on we have the worst coach since Weaver was masquerading as a coach some 25 years ago. He is turning some very decent footballers into ones who are not believing in themselves as individuals & confused and lacking in confidence at what they are supposed to be doing as a team. To have a chairman who isn’t prepared to sack this coach after what we have witnessed in the last 5 months is alarming. What does it say about the ambition. The fans will vote with their feet. No way are 6.000 Rovers fans going to put up with watching boring dross week after week. The lack of action since this last and possibly the worst performance to date is setting alarm bells ringing very loudly.

Campsall, nothing in what you’ve just written has anything to do with my point about Scunthorpe. People comparing us to what is happening there and even suggesting they would beat us is just pathetic. Their situation is 100 times worse than what we’re going through and people are delusional if they think otherwise
Scunny look like they'll be in National North next season. Same league as King's Lynn.Just saying.
