Utterly disgraceful so far. Wood and Olowu have been dreadful.

Went to the game vs. Harrogate last week and I honestly don't get the Wood hype. Not surprised.

All really poor defensive errors. Need to see more from wood. His passes inside either have too much on them or not enough and put us straight under pressure. When we went 3 at the back expecting Roberts and sotona to effectively play as wing backs they were then too deep to support the front line. Biggins struggled to find a red shirt all afternoon. Only positive was the big lad mo faal. Looks a handful and surprisingly good with the ball at his feet

At least we have the right manager to sort this out. I'd be far more concerned if we had any of our recent former managers in charge to fix it.

It's going to be a loooooong season.

0 points against harrogate and Newport! And soundly outplayed in both.

Only 1 way were going

The worrying thing for me is that I thought Harrogate were sharper and quicker than us. They out hustled us for much of the game. The same is happening again - and as I typing we are 4-0 down against another mediocre team. It’s going to be a very tough season.

Just chill. It’s the second game ffs. Yeah, it’s not ideal buts it’s a new team. Give it some time
We’re keeping up our new tradition of believing this is the season we break free . Butler Wellens McSheffrey ,Schofield  and Now McCann it’s pride we keep this going  :headbang:

Give over. Other than Wellens nobody expected anything from the other 3

Some rate Fannie's on here. GM said before the season started that it's going to take a few weeks to get going properly.
I expected loads of inconsistent performances and results for the first two months.
Really bad day someone else's office today but luckily not much time to dwell on it before the next match.

No hiding for Grant on this showing looking forward to hearing what he has to say because that was atrocious, I’d go so far to say worse than last season

No goals and no points against two teams who will almost certainly be bottom six. Outplayed and out-muscled by both. A serious rethink already required?

That was as bad as anything under GM and DS. I doubt we'll see anything that bad for the remainder of the season.

I’ve got total faith in McCann, who is clearly a very good manager at this level. However, it’s probably not lost on everyone that we actually won there and kept a clean sheet last season.

Stockport have also lost both games and they were most people's favourites.  Long way to go. McCann will sort it.

That was as bad as anything last season. Could have been 5-0 at half time. Tearing my hair out after such a great performance at Hull. Everton must be terrified. Really looked like a non league side. Supposed to be a team of fighters, us against the world and all that. A decent side would have got double figures against us today. Heat of the moment comments I know but so deflated after watching that. Sort it out Grant.

We’re 6 points off automatic promotion with 132 points still to play for.

f**k me people need to get a grip. We’ve played two games, if you’re not having that arguement then you’re clueless.
Look at Stockport last season, look at us last season.
The table sorts itself out in the end and we will be lot higher than we were last season at the end.
It’s a bad start but it doesn’t mean much

So many new players all brought in because presumably they were better than what we had, yet that’s 2 performances that wouldn’t be out of place last season.

…”at this level” isn’t quite right though is it? I don’t doubt that he probably has the ability to figure out what is needed in L2, but he has not exactly mastered it yet!

You seriously believe that it should click after two league games with a high turnover of playing staff in the summer?

Did we not have a pre-season?

And? Do you honestly think those friendlies are enough to 1, find a settled side, 2, find form, 3, all these new faces gelling straight away.

It's 2 games in FFS

I still think we've got a better squad but only a slightly better starting 11.
