We look good but I am not sure they are really bothering that much. Seems a decent side they have put out mind.

They might be in hospitality.

They include the owners etc don't they, does it include the players and staff too?

They've been poor. Very odd as they have only lost 1 in last 10 games, and that loss was to a 88 min winner away at Carlisle.

Well done from all the players they played really well and deserved to win Burton tried their best to get a draw good goal from them. But that’s qualifying to next round.

Next round is played during w/c 4 December. This next round is the final one that is regional based, so we will be playing sides from Midlands / North.

Currently Saturday 2 December is clear for the FA Cup second round I think. So we could have two important cup games in a few days if we manage to get past Accrington and if not, we have a clear weekend leading into the midweek cup game.

It may not be everyones favourite competition but keep getting through the rounds picking up the prize money and may help sign another player or give some new contracts out

I think that is the first time we have beaten a team from a higher league in this competition since 2002-03 - our last season in the Conference when we won at Wigan before losing 0-8 at Crewe

Actually not a surprise stat since most of the seasons since then we have either been in League 1 and thus the highest level in the competition, or in the Championship and not playing in it.

It's wonderful to see a winning mentality returning to the squad.

That 8-0 was one of the few games that Danny Hudson started for us. When we signed him on loan thought he would be a big player for us.

Correct me f I'm wrong but belle Vue saw 660 some watch rovers v blackpool in some minor cup. If I remember rightly the teams left the pitch at least once because the rain was so voluminous no-one could see a thing

First goal we’ve conceded that wasn’t a defensive balls up for ages.
Decent clearance from a cross (yep we won a header from an opponents cross). No chance to close down the shot… wallop goal, fair enough.

Rovers were very good tonight. Well played to those that went too!

Will give the players confidence and minutes too. If we can have a good run in one of the cups it will be good for morale.

Especially by giving players minutes who are coming back from injury too.

Winning is a habit, couldn’t care less which competition it’s in, winning is everything.
Seen many a club win this cup and go on to bigger success, including Rovers.

We have 6pts either Mansfield or Burton who play each other can get 6pts then it will depend on Goal difference ours is 2 Burton 1 Mansfield 0

1991-92 in the Associate Members cup - attendance of 613 was lowest for a competitive game until the Rochdale game 'beat ' it.  :scarf:

So if Mansfield beat Burton by one goal then we will top the group.

We won quite a few headers from Burton crosses in our box tonight.
