I’m not sticking up for them but £235m is only a small fraction of £8.3b that is available after the scrapping of the not needed HS2.I don’t know why you are getting het up over this. It does say there is enough to resurface up to 5000 miles of roads across the country.

The one that looked like they had just thrown a bunch of placenames randomly onto a map of North England.
