Got Y around 8 am then fate intervened

Just had 330 ml of Belgian Beer at 9 % , so thought s**t or bust.

Looked at Kart and thought of a prefix and boom

Apparantly I read just now , "most people" ** are very familiar with one type of product associated with it but don't know it goes on to produce a second type

Edit .... Now that the above was yesterday. I didn't think Capers were berries but went for it.The things most of us are aware of are actually the pickled flower buds of the Caperberry Plant ..... And if left turn into much larger (actual) berries

I could have got the B today if I'd have thought about it, as it was featured in an episode of 'Young Sheldon' (or was it The Simpsons?) I saw.
'Dysentery' was the outlier for me today but I didn't focus on it till too late.

Complete and utter carnage today

Got the Yellow

After that not a single guess was worth a 1 away

Looked like a Today colour Crossword

The only serious idea I had was Films with 1 word Titles. Hook , Speed etc and for me that wasn't bad but was awarded 3 different colours

I spent ages prior to that REALLY looking but in truth I was routed.

I had 3 lives left and realized I was buggered so picked the 4 words at bottom

Then the 4 words in the middle

Then the 4 words below my single gleam of success , the Yellow

And this was a DOD of 54 supposedly , imo 94 would have been nearer

Roll on tonight , then tomorrow

Looks like you had a bigger battle with this than the Rovers did at Salford Wolfie.
A few years ago Mrs T and me were in a Greek Tragedy at Wakefield Theatre Royal no less.
Trojan Women by Euripedes.
Christ it was deep.
So I remembered Chorus and Hubris etc from that.

Done quickly with a lucky guess on the Blue, knew 3 of em and thought the guess was the most likely.
