To show how limited my brain is, on today's puzzle I was certain that 'types of waves' was a Connection. So banged 4 in and got a fail, ie not even a 1a. My brain was not having it, so changed 1 answer and expected it to be correct!
After that I finally changed tack and got on course. How I didn't spot the P, I'll never know. ( Was  the Connection 'Waves' by any chance lol)??

I tried to solve the B for a few seconds when only that left and should have stuck at it

I disliked it on sight and moreover when I failed.
Lost a life then got GY.
Then lost remaining lives, including a 1a, without spotting either Connection.
