I feel like we should be wanting a Barrow win. We don't need to catch one of them, and Crawley getting no points makes them easier to catch.

Exactly. Crawley lose Tuesday night and we wouldn’t even necessarily need to win all our remaining games to end up 7th.

I would say a draw is the best result, if no draw a Barrow win, I said weeks back that last playoff place is between Rovers and Crawley

We play barrow so playoffs are in our hands regardless (technically). Would just mean we'd have to smash barrow to swing the Gd and keep the Gd high. Crawley not winning is better as it's not then on Gd but screw it we can beat barrow

If we beat Barrow they can still finish above us on 76 points.

If Crawley DON'T beat Barrow on Tuesday, the play-offs are in our own hands.

If Crawley DO beat Barrow on Tuesday, it could also be in our own hands if Barrow's results against Crawley and us (next Saturday) removes their GD advantage of 9.

But that means Crawley had lost Tues, then we're after Crawley and thanks to fact we don't play Tues we'd have a game in hand, catching 1 point.

And barrow no longer have a game in hand too.

I know it's gd but as we play barrow, I'm calling it. We technically have this is our own hands, we just have to accept that if it went this route we'd have to keep smashing teams and shout at players score updates if suddenly barrow have scored too many lol.

That's why Crawley not winning is better because then it's in our hands on points, not just the gd scenario which is obviously more risky/difficult due to the logistics of a fluid gd landscape last game of the season haha!

Or if beat barrow 1-0, we ofcourse just win every game from then 10-0 haha!

Fair play to them if they beat our gd then.

Definitely a draw leaves both catchable especially if we beat Barrow next Saturday.

Don't forget Crewe, who are not in good form (lost 0-3 at home to Grimsby today). They play Wrexham next weekend. Lose that and they will have 70 points and only a tricky away match at Colchester to follow.

If Barrow win 3 or 4 nowt would be good. Could come down to goal difference now.

Walsal also play Tuesday and if they win we drop to 9th on goal difference but with a game in hand. We would then need to win or match their results. This is on top of hoping Crawley drop points from their last 3 matches. I have faith we will make at least 7th spot, remememder Barrow have only played 42 so have a game in hand as well.

They have 3 CB’s as play with wing backs usually. Yes could do with Chester getting a red.   :byebye:

I have no fear though. We just need to keep doing what we have for weeks now.

Walsall can’t catch us anymore if we do our bit and keep winning. I think the 4 play off teams will be from the 5 of us, Crawley, MK, Crewe and Barrow. Barrow, Crewe and Crawley all look like they could throw it away and end up out the top 7 which is great news for us!

Losing their Centre Half Ray yesterday is a huge blow for them - they don't have the cover for him and he was their "Woody"

They'll not recover from that and hard to see them picking up any more than 3 or 4 points with their run in now.

Barrow to beat Crawley is definitely the best scenario. If that happens the door is open and it’s all down to us.

We can’t be looking to hammer everyone to improve the GD or choosing who to play and when the home leg is.

If Crawley lose tomorrow, 3 scrappy wins for us will defo mean playoffs I think? Simple as that. Maybe 2 wins and a draw might even be enough, but drawing a game at this stage would feel like a defeat.

I would say Chester is their Woody. Played in the Premier league and majority of career in the Championship. 35 caps for Wales also.
The other centre back Canavan is also an experienced player. Think he was at Scunthorpe & Rochdale, Plymouth & Bradford City.

I was just thinking the same. I’m in.

Perhaps we can have a thread on here to accompany the game.

A draw is the best result as we could still over take crawley with the game in hand and Barrow have Mansfield on the last day of the season

This will not be an easy game. Even if they lose at Crawley they will still have everything to play for. It’s a massive 6 pointer.

Colchester. If they win tomorrow & Saturday then they may be safe when they play us but they may not.
This will be a very tricky game whatever their situation is a week tomorrow.

Gillingham may well be out of contention when we have our last game.
But the Priestfield is the worst ground for us in the EFL
Not checked our away record at Reading which might be close to being worst away ground.
Reading home and away is the overall the worst.
( Based on teams we have played over about 30 times )

But we are playing with so much confidence at present we should have no fear against anyone.
Previous results are always that. Previous. They are gone.

We play in the present not the past.
Bring them all on. They will be very worried about us, that is for sure.

right now we dont fear anyone,   let the chasing pack fear us!!!!!!, we have League 2's version of Mo Salah on the wing!!, scoring, assisting!!!!  and showing no signs of letting up!!!
