You can’t have your leg like that with your studs showing, how many times does a full back play the ball down the line and his follow through connect with the bloke trying to block it, every single time a free kick is given.
Definite pen for me

That was definitely a pen, anywhere else on the pitch it’s a foul.
England are playing well, need to score whilst on top though

We are playing well but that was never a penalty kanes follow through from his shot hit his studs even the var person was shocked it was given

Anywhere else on the pitch its a free kick, so its a pen no doubt

His studs were up but kane kicked them, are defenders not allowed to block shots anymore

You have to win the ball in those situations, he didn’t so committed the foul

It take it you were not a defender when you played because i would have been shocked if that was given against me

Can’t help but question Kanes contribution. All round game has gone to pot compared to where he was before. Wish Watkins would get 30min to stretch them.

I agree and I think I’d bring him off but he’s the joint top scorer in the competition.
The Dutch have sat back now which is why the game has gone like it has,

Get in!!!

Alls forgiven Southgate shouldn’t have doubted him! Playing well and winning like that makes such a difference.

If Watkins starts the next game Gareth might get another contract! Kane isn’t helping the team atm it’s obvious

Where are you now, you who doubted Southgate you obviously don’t understand football. Brilliant tactics from day one Darren.

I wouldn’t say we rode our luck. If you look at the 90 we’d have been unlucky to lose

Got to remember Watkins was playing against a tired defence. Starting him might not be the best option imo. Great player to have to bring on though.

Great subs, fair play for that.  Holland were like a lot of teams we see at Donny.  Sat back tried to hang on but the quality told in the end.

England have a great bench, it told tonight.

So much better and more entertaining to watch.

Really good first half.

Second half the Dutch did a good job at stifling the game. As they had to.

But a fully deserved win.

I can't see how it was a penalty. But who cares.

If England approach the final in the same way against an excellent, attacking Spanish team it could be a great watch Sunday.

Well done Gareth, well done England, and well done Dickos. You've proved us all wrong.

I thought our midfield was superb tonight. Just too strong for them.
