Henderson's Relish the got to have in our house, fried egg butty, fry-up, corned beef hash, stew, sunday dinner - got to have a splash of Henderson's! Got my Nan from Sheffield to thank for that.

There aren't that many foods that aren't improved with the addition of lemon.

I’m with BB in this one, love tinned tomatoes.
Whenever I want to lose a bit of weight I have them two or three times a day, with a dash of Worcester sauce.
Not sure I’d put em on apple pie though.

Chips with anything except tomatoes of any kind.

Tomato Soup ok and Tomato Sauce ok but can't see how one of them would work

I think BB won this thread with his opening shot.
If Mrs Mug is away and I can't be arsed to make anything, I regularly have a tin of Peeled Plum (not chopped, you've got teeth haven't you?) Tomatoes,  cooked with a large dollop of Marmite stirred in, on a slice of wholemeal bread. I then stick a minimum of 4 of my home made XL pickled onions on top and slather the lot in Brown sauce and black pepper.
After eating I then have another slice of bread and bItter to mop up any residue and a cup of brown Yorkshire Tea to sluice it all down.
(A variant can be made using baked beans instead of tomatoes).
I trump a lot and don't have any friends, but they are sacrifices I'm willing to make in the pursuit of culinary perfection.

That last bit made me laugh mate.   Cheers for that.

A dash of Henderson's Relish on your tomatoes will add a savory delight, and might help settle your wind situation as well  ;)

That sounds like heaven mug,you smelly bugger, yes lots of black pepper, worcester sauce or Hendo’s relish add a bit of piquancy.
Don’t agree about the baked beans though, can’t stand em.

Do you ever light your farts, Mug? If so, I'd advise everyone to stand well back.

TT. Have you ever tried fried baked beans? I'm not a beans fan, but frying them with lard makes them taste amazing.

Frying them with bacon takes the experience even further.

Try it, and thank me later!

There is a separate board for politics.

As for the OP question, I would say brown sauce.  It’s my condiment of choice naturally, but also an added dash into gravy, bolognese, chilli, stews etc as a seasoning.

Doesn’t work with sweet things mind..

That’s nearly as disgusting as what my old mam said when I asked her what was for tea.
‘Shit wi sugar on.’
