Places for learner drivers to practice

Any ideas for large places I can take the kids for  a practice drive in my car without dual controls.
Ideally somewhere we can’t do much damage to anyone/anything else.
In my day we went on Lindholme aerodrome but someone built a prison on it.

Many years ago I used to take my lad to Sandtoft aerodrome.
It was through the industrial estate on the left as you go into Belton from Hatfield.
Wide open spaces and a bridge over the M180 on which hill starts can be practiced.
We used to take a couple of cones to practice reversing between.
I’m not sure if it is still available but someone from out that way might be able to advise.

Yeah, the last time I took Ann Widdicombe there she was very impressed with my clutch control.

I taught wife the basics and got her confidence up before proper lessons at back of Donny college in Batleys car park. Plenty of junctions and a hill, usually quiet on a Sunday,

I drove a Ford Corsair on the straight mile when I was about 10, I think my Dad had had a few. Mid 70's

Most industrial estates are dead on Sundays, with big wide-ish roads and junctions for the artic lorries to use.?

Or anywhere in London when Manchester United are playing at home!

BV car park was always good. My dad took me there.  Could practice car control too avoiding the potholes... Round here it was another old airfield but even that's closed off now.
