Just moved on a frame from the last screenshot and Gibson is still onside with clear evidence that the ball had been released.
I don't think whether that was offside or not is relevant , you were just clearly better than us in that first half . No one can really have any complaints , It went into pre-season mode after the sending off which was probably better for us in that it wasn't a really bad pumping like last time .McCann got it spot on today for you tactically I thought

Gibson is clearly back in favour. Like Molyneux in his early days, he has attracted criticism in the past for selfishly going for goal rather than taking a more sensible option of passing the ball to someone better placed.The first of his two goals yesterday was a one-man breakaway, so he did not face such a decision and in the case of the second, there was no real choice to be made between passing or shooting.Do questions remain about his judgement as a team player?
