Genius set up off the ball set up from McCann.

One of our most important defensive performances today was actually Joe Ironside doing an old-school man-marking job on their midfielder and stopping them building up from the back. He was always looking for him.

That left the more intense runners of Molyneux, Ennis and Kelly to press the defenders and goalkeeper so they couldn’t play out from the back.

Usher wide.

If I was Gibson looking at Street snd Ennis playing in front of me I’d be shaking my head. Street looks a grafter and has pace but he’s shown zero quality. You need creativity as a wide man, that’s not his game.

Ennis looks like a player but he’s green as grass and learning the trade with us. Gibson was the best winger in the league (along with Moly) a few months ago, and he only signed him 6 months ago. No need to replace him in January is there, unless he was wrong on both counts.

Great finish from Street. A good bit of quality there, I thought he was good off the bench.

Looks like he needs to play as a 9 to me. He’s not a winger. No surprise they scored down that side just after he came on.

Not really much to do their Street their goal.
Maxwell and McGrath made a mess of it, all goals come from somewhere on the pitch. That goal can’t be used against him at all.

I thought because he was out of shape, Maxwell had to go up one to press, which dragged Jay over and left the huge gap for a deep runner, but what do I know.

Those last four words.

It’s like an open goal.

Well that was a great game to watch. Credit to MK for coming and taking us on, its been too long since a team came here to do so and we were served up a treat to watch.

GM surprised us all and included both Crew and Kelly in the side, Kelly slotting into the no10 role played a blinder in there and must have given GM along with Sbarra and Clifton food for thought. Crew just keeps getting better the more he plays and will be some player by the end of the season never mind going forward.

The important thing for me was we played as a team, we harried and rushed them into mistakes and scored a goal from it. The side worked beautifully together and have really put down a marker now to go on another big run, if we can keep the togetherness and working for all we stand a cracking chance.

I don't think i could pick out an individual from that fantastic to watch game, the whole side stood up to the plate and showed us just what they can achieve when the set their minds to it, and just as importantly the opposition come for a game, thought Dan Crowley had a superb game, if we had that sort of player in our midfield we would now be almost guaranteed promotion.

The standard has been set and when you think back we have built up to this over that last few weeks, we now need to sustain this and really cement our place, Walsall are there for the taking.

If we could come and watch football of that standard each week i'd be very happy.

We have halved the points lead that Walsall had over us just a short while ago.
I am really thinking that we might catch them now,

Notts County will be thinking the same.
Not sure Wimbledon will maintain.

This reeks of a title decider at Notts County last game.

Thought we were excellent today. Much more like a Grant McCann side. Very enjoyable to watch. I think that is the best side available that started today.
Praise to the usual suspects but Crew is now making a difference. Kelly’s ball carrying helped us get up the pitch quicker and more positively which rubbed off on others.
Special praise though for me goes to Joe Ironside. I said it earlier in the week and I’ll say it again. We’re a miles better side when he plays. His hold up play is second to none in this league. It helps us get up the pitch also by buying us time. And whilst he’s getting kicked from pillar to post, it’s taking the pressure off others. The defenders hate playing against it. You could almost see their sigh of relief when he got subbed. The cherry on the top was his goal. Hopefully he’ll go on a run of goals now. Especially as chance creation seems on the up. He was feeding off scraps before.
Grant needs to continue starting him week in week out. I think he’s that important to how we play.

They’ve gone extremely attacking. They want to play perfect expansive football in league 2 despite not being very good.

4-2 Rovers and finally an entertaining Saturday afternoon home game for Scawsby Steve.

Yep, absolutely entertaining.

Great game, two good entertaining sides trying to play football.best we have played all season for me against I think the best team we have played aswell even better than Notts county and chesterfield, thought there was a little tug by Ironside just before their lad recieved the ball so Joe could nick it off him but great finish.Couple good saves by both keepers especially the one from Kelly.pitty we didn’t get a 3rd at the end,Clifton should pherhaps shot but suppose if he had then be whinging saying he should of squared it but do think Gibson went with the wrong foot

Best game of the season, MK came to win which makes all the difference.
Just wish the cloggers in this league would do the same.

First prediction… sadly Wimbledon will win the league. Sorry !
