Gaz,Based on your thorough stat-based insight on us, what is your feeling in terms of where we will finish come 3rd May?

Very unscientific but I feel that we play better early season and late season as the pitches arent heavy going.Mols and Gibson can 'float' across the surface now.

McCann has no history in management of in T.Bramalls words " getting better results than the budget would suggest ".Neither is there evidence of "managing the budget better"Two in Close and Westbrooke who've contributed zero and one player given an extra year and sent away.A few of last summers signings were and are a puzzle. McCann has one promotion to his name, more relegations than promotions and more sackings than relegations.

He’s a good manager for the level, I used to think he was a great one.

Love clubs one minute then love another one the next minute.A poor analogy from someone who goes from ‘loving’ a manager to then ‘don’t rate him highly’ to saying he’s a ‘good manager for the level’ that you used to think was a ‘great one’.Two small pieces of advice for you (which of course you won’t give ‘house room’ to because they don’t ‘belong in GazLaz Land’).1. If you’ve nothing of value to say, say nothing.2. We’ve all seen your ‘bad mouthing’ in the past of Sterry & Molyneaux, two players who you didn’t rate one for his ‘mental strength’ the other for his ‘limitations beyond this division’, so please, stop telling all & sundry at every opportunity how YOU told the club (given your ‘special access’ to the ‘inner sanctum’ at the club, or so you’d love all to believe that to be the case) they should have tied Olowu down to a contract before this season started. The club has a real opportunity to end the season as Champions, but you just want to cover your tracks by back pedalling on your ‘initial thoughts’ on Grant’s capabilities as manager.I believe in this manager. I believe we will be promoted this season. I believe we can realistically go up as Champions.Enjoy the rest of the season before it’s back to obtaining odds on cricket & horses.

It’s an open forum and I’ll put across whatever content I see fit. There’s a slight typo there but that was supposed to read “rate him AS highly”, which I think is absolutely fair. I see you missed the part where I say I think we will finish top three and where I say Grant is a good manager. You are also insinuating I make things up in regard to who I speak to… Think you are the one who’s got their opinions wrong and are doubling down on it, making yourself look a complete fool.
Peoples perception of McCann is skewed by the playoff game away at Charlton. Sure he got Hull back to the Championship after getting them relegated with Hull's biggest away defeat in 100 years being a lowlight of the season.A very well catered for squad put together at Hull from the then owner enabling the promotion.Nothing outside of that shows his ability to "get more from the budget ".So long as the extra funding from T.Bramall necessary is there then McCann could be here quite a while.Certainly regardless of the outcome of this season McCann is here for next, though what the squad will look like is anyone's guess.

Our wage bill is around 5th highest in this division wasn’t it said? So top 3 and he’s done exactly what you’ve said he hasn’t done. Carlisle have one of the biggest wage bills, have a look at their league position, same with MK dons
