Bradford Tickets
« on April 20, 2025, 09:04:20 am by dknward2 »
As I have just had a quick add up of the tickets left for Colchester which came to just over 1500, yes more areas can be open but I doubt it now with just over 24 hours to go.

So I thought I’d do the same for the Bradford game and again for the areas that are currently available for sale we are showing 973 yes lots of areas that can be opened, however think if we win tomorrow then can see these going quickly through the week.

We really need the drfc marketing team to kick into high gear and be pushing for a sell out for the stadium for a promotion party

How much segregation is needed for the Bradford game? Will waste a lot of space for sure.

You'd like to think we're pushing 10k tomorrow

Let's hope so, although it is Easter weekend.

If all goes well then the Bradford game should be a near sell out. The club will have prepared the segregation zones for this game no doubt.

I suspect and hope, they will take extra precautions to prevent crowd invasions during the game. We'll be under scrutiny no doubt after last seasons episode.

I’m expecting a larger police and steward presence than we have had all season.

We need no reason for the efl to be looking at us for a simple pitch invasion could lead to a lot bigger fine and worse point’s deduction.

Let’s all enjoy the game celebrating in style and let the players do the lap of honour

There is no reason or excuse whatsoever for a pitch invasion but some idiots can’t be told. How much will it cost the club if some encroach not to mention extra stewarding costs?

Maybe a bit of self-stewarding might help, particularly in the South Stand and near the front? Some need reminding what’s at stake. It could actually prevent us getting a good signing next season, for example.

Yes, you wonder if one of those artificial moats would do the trick to stop the few wannabe's climbing over.

Not sure I quite understand how to work out the expected attendance when we talk ‘tickets left figures’. So are we saying with 911 left we’re expecting around 14,000 working on a 15,000 capacity.( I believe it is a bit less than 15k)
Would be easier knowing home tickets actually sold would it not? Then just add in the allocation for the away fans, which we can assume are completely sold out for Bradford.

No one actually knows the capacity anymore.
Wouldn't surprise me if it's 13.5k with all the bonkers H&S nowadays

So, as no one knows what the capacity is or how many seats are lost to segregation, stating how many ticket are left is totally useless info.
Therefore does anyone know how many tickets have actually been sold. May make this thread more informative.

Wasn't the Palace cup game classed as near capacity? 12,700+,  what's point having 15,000 seats if someone can't argue they're following procedure and knock off a few thousand seats ?

A few years ago the capacity was reduced due to various issues, big screen, segregation, etc so the 15,000 is wrong

So the seats are still there just not being used, which was is what I was getting at, love to know the criteria used that says why lots of seats are judged as unusable,  Rotherham have lost about 500, from their capacity of 12,021

When we played Palace in 2019 the attendance was 14,010. South was unreserved seating then. When we played them earlier this season the attendance was just shy of 13000.

What we need to consider in addition to the segregation of fans, is the segregation in the split concourses and the staffing/stewarding that goes with it. The club has to balance the opening of those areas v demand.

For this seasons Palace match we were paid compensation for TV coverage and once demand drops to a trickle, it may not be worth opening additional blocks when the average income per seat is only about £8.

Over the years, I can't think of a time when the club got it way wrong.

Actual seats are 14975 I think (less any needing repair)

I disagree.

Anyone with a passing interest only has to look at the table - also there’s not many tickets left either.?
