The one benefit of the early kick off is that at least we're not all at home twiddling our thumbs and annoying our spouses / cats / kids etc, it's up and out. Before Crewe H last year outside the ground was full and buzzing a good hour or so before kick off, I'm getting down early to soak it up a bit and maybe a morning beverage for medicinal purposes to settle the nerves!

Sadly still not well enough to go so please have a beer/ chant or two for me please .
Must admit don’t hit fully Rovcon1 until 30 minutes before the game starts and I’m the same if not at the game - hoping we are on the radio today ?
I'll definitely raise a glass for your Hoolahoop and a drink for the health of our Rovers family. 2017 the last time we tasted a bit of success, it's felt a long few years of wilderness, so a big moment for all of us to share.

I've been at Rovcon 2 all week. It's been awful.

I was in Manchester with work all day yesterday and a Liverpool fan was going on about winning the league and I elevated to Rovcon 1 for about half an hour. Had sweats, palpitations, the lot. Managed to calm down slightly.

I'll be a gibbering wreck by noon tomorrow.

Been around 1 or 2 all week. My nerves are shot to bits. I really hope the outcome isn’t going to be decided by dodgy refereeing or something like that. Unless it’s in our favour of course then that’d be just fine. The thought of the Away end going crackers at a goal or even worse winning the game is turning my stomach. It’s gonna be one hell of an emotional rollercoaster that’s for sure. RTID

What comes after level 1? Not even the last day of the season and I'm a nervous wreck. This is my 60th season as a Rovers supporter but somehow this feels like Stoke, Wembley and Brentford rolled into one. I'm not sure if I could handle another play off saga.
Some people still say "It's only a game". Not sure what game they mean but it's not football!

I'm now in a very poor state and I dont understand why.

I think maybe it is because it seems means so much just now, absolutely love the team and the manager and to see the away attendance of late has been mind-blowing. There's a real togetherness.

Also, I am acutely aware (although trying not to think about it) that if we win we're up.

Philsky, please stop. Posts like yours are not helping. I’m now at level 3. My “tea towel holder” is now at a constant flutter! And I’ve got an early start and a 75 mile drive to contend with first thing just to get to the game.

I’ve progressed to a two this afternoon
My mate has told me that he isn’t looking forward to the game because he feels so tense already.
My butterflies have started a bit early.

I don’t even know if I’ll bother trying to sleep tonight! I’m buzzing for the game tomorrow but nervous as hell! Again as always in the big games I just hope we turn up and put on a good show, win lose or draw after that and I can live with it.

I've just got in from work and now at Rovcon 2.
And similar to normal rules, my tea towel holder is doing the old 20 pence 50 pence

Just checked into Lakeside Premier Inn and funnily enough the chap checking in before me was a Rovers fan. Sounded like a Lincolnshire accent. Rovcon 3 at the minute. Rovcon 1 in the morning when the rest of the family arrive and I also catch up with some City fans I know. A right football day coming up tomorrow whatever happens.

4.5. Not totally chilled but leaning towards. Least stressful area of my life at the moment which says more about my life than the game. Bit miffed that Bradford seem a bit full of themselves on Social media, but nothing more than that. Fully aware it will get a lower number at some point unless we score 3 early goals. RTID

Been a 2 all week! On a break in North Wales, (bad planning),  so cutting it a bit short to travel back tomorrow morning for the game, going to be a long journey.

That mention of 3 early goals triggered me up the scale by one! Donny being 3 up in 10 mins fills me with horror - you just know how it will go  :silly: :suicide:

It has to be “ event horizon”

I think it's "Whoops Apocolypse"

Whatever it is, I'm there. I've forced myself to watch a rubbish Tom Hardy action movie just to try to calm down.

I’m struggling to get to sleep just now.
I might start a chat to SydneyRover, that should do the job. ;-)

Ladies & gents. This thread is making me feel so normal. No sleep, can’t concentrate & every permutation going round in my tiny little mind. This is great. RTID. Four of us in a car from Lincolnshire setting off soon. RTID.

Had a stomach bug for 3 days.  Safe to say there's nothing left for nerves

Morning all.
Excited & fairly confident here, probably equates to a 4?
Vale have a tricky fixture, every one tricky for Walstall atm, Bradford have a tough one !
What's the worst that can happen? We go do it at County next week? These lads will get us over the line, let's go & make some noise, YOU REDS !!!

Sex is the breakfast of champions - well, according to the late James Hunt it was..

I’ve actually dropped down to level 4.  Other demands at work and home remind me there’s more to life than football, taking my mind off the game..

Well less than 5 hrs to kickoff, it seems so long since our last game, so probably indicates how nervous we all are as to the outcome.
Football is one hell of a game, and at rovers we have experienced some real highs and lows over the years we have supported them, 65 years for me since my first game.
My only wish is that the players do their best, give it their all for the cause, and if that happens, then no matter what result we end up with, I will leave the stadium happy.
Good luck guys.
