Set off from our tiny village in France yesterday morning. 120 mile drive to airport, flight to Gatwick then trains to Donny and finally a bus to Bawtry. Didn't sleep much, troughed a bacon sarnie and off to stadium soon. Level 2-3 but rising.

Surprised how many Rovers shirts were in the dining room at breakfast. A car load of family driving across from Bradford now so getting nervy. Having a pint with a few City fans I know before the game and I know that they as nervous or even more nervous than me.

Well, what a day. I go back home today so it's trains, plane and automobile until I get to my house in the middle of nowhere in France. My Rovcon is still high, I think it's a bit of disbelief really. But, they did it and I have some brilliant memories to take back with me and I've a daft grin all over my face. Well done Rovers!
