I'd love to know what Rob Street said to him. They sportingly tap hands, Street says something then the other guy is at the ref. Certainly didn't take much to rile him up.

Good to see refs not tolerating it though, it shouldn't be allowed.

To me, street didn’t say anything, the ref came over seemingly wanting a quick word, and once in eye-line Baldwin just went nuts.
In hindsight don’t think it helped us at all. They then had nothing to lose.  Seemed to throw our game plan out of the window too…

But what a master stroke of the club to reduce their support numbers, worked an absolute treat. They, like their team were p*asking in an ocean.

I was thinking the same and trying to lip read but he sort of gestured to where we got the free kick when Street went down maybe said summat like "The refs done you there mate".

Just watched the highlights for the 20th time.

Mrs Pancho thinks that’s excessive.
I’m a bit worried about her.

Is there no housework she could be getting on with? Lol!

I haven’t managed to find any clips of Sterry’s little toddler cheerleading the black bank during the celebrations.  I don’t have a Facebook nor X account so can’t search there.

Anyone got anything?

So, in extra time, Bradford get a corner and their keeper comes up to our box hoping that he helps a last minute equaliser, TSL collects it comfortably.
Why didn’t TSL launch it towards their empty goal and claim ‘legend’ status?

I was screaming for him to do that, there was no one in the Bradford half, he probably did the right thing, but emotions were high and all sense go’s out of the window

I’ll forgive him anyway because he saved the penalty and knocked their shot at goal away.

Baldwin was holding Street and gave away a free kick. Think it led to the corner that led to the opening goal. Baldwin was going at the ref then. On the extended highlights commentary, commentator says that Baldwin must be close to a yellow for accumulating fouls after that.

Then half time and the stupid tw@t keeps at it..

What a bell end.

I’m glad we did Bradford.

I at first had that thought but in reality I don’t think the Bradford players would have allowed TSL to try it.
They would have just ran across him and stopped him kicking it, or worst case scenario, block his kick and it might have rebounded into our net.

Heffernan into the Asda car park written all over it. TSL made the right call.

I said to my young friend before the game, I've had a vision as I woke this morning, Bradford on the attack their keeper has gone walkabout near the half way line, TSL claims the ball and launches it. One bounce into an empty net, dead vivid it was (curtesy BB)
Well it could have happened at that corner  :P

Watched that a few times and it looks like RS might have said something like "that's never a foul".

To be fair, I thought the 10 man Bradford team played exceptionally well

It definitely wrong-footed us when we were against 10 and Bradford made changes. Don't think anyone could argue against that we were better in the first half against 11.

Second half against 10 men we pulled everyone back at corners and set pieces, the should have been at least on man left forward, meaning they would need two men back instead of their only defender being half way in our half, meaning? I would have been bold and left two up top making them bring three back

I thought the tension started to show a bit in our play in the second half- hardly surprising given the stakes

I think that most of us would have thought the same Filo but Grant would probably argue that his tactics worked because Bradford didn’t score from set pieces or corners.
Bradford did play really well in the second half though and we should give them credit for doing so.

Does a long throw into the six yard box not count as a set-piece, Hound?

Hound, it was your assertion that Bradford didn't score from a set-piece but now you say you don't know.

Not really, I replied to your question and then asked if you know whether a throw in is classed as a set piece.
So are you saying that you don’t know either.
Or are you just wanting an argument.

Weird career as well. 27 and played less than 90 league games.

He got a move to Bristol City quite young and sat it his 5 years there. Sure he joined Notts County when they were in the Conference and kicked on from they’re.

Sorry about that last line pies, I had had a bit of bad news just before I posted and wasn’t in a great mood.
FWIIW, I googled about whether a throw in can be considered to be a set piece and some responses said that it can be.
Perhaps I should have said that we hadn’t conceded from free kicks and corners!
