Talked the other day to someone who knows the family, they have no interest at all in football or Doncaster. Once he leaves, that's it.
All major companies have succession planning so will we, pretty sure Terry will have a number of people that he will probably offer first refusal to but then we would go on the open market and hopefully it will be sold to the right person or group of people

Don’t presume to predict the future it’s no that long ago Rovers didn’t have one until John Ryan came along and Terry is in his place and the club is in a better place now !!
Revisiting this thread because while I was watching the video of Day 2 in Spain just now, the thought struck me that those pictures looked very much like we are in a period to savour. It won't last forever. It might not last long at all. But the Rovers, today, have an obviously wonderful group ethos, they have a damn good manager, and, above all else, they have an owner and Chairman to whom we should all bow our knees and give humble, grateful, thanks. These are special times in the life of DRFC. I can't think of any other period in my lifetime when so many stars were simultaneously aligned. BobG
Purely a curious thought, any whisper of what comes next if he leaves, retires etc? Do we think he would sell to another wealthy individual? Would the club work without him financially? Could gavin run it without him?thinking out loud here .
Without a doubt for me the most pivotal decision in all this was the sacking of Schofield and bringing back McCann straight after the season ended. 9th may he got the sack and McCann was in by the 12th. Can’t recall us ever being so decisive and didn’t see it coming at all with the way the club was being ran. Was it good fortune that McCann was willing to come back to us or was his arm twisted by someone on the board. Either way since that point the whole club has aligned with positive appointments in key areas off the field and naturally everything on the field has fallen into place. I think it was Gary Neville on Sky said what you see on the pitch is direct reflection of what is going on upstairs and I couldn’t agree much more with that.
