Struggling to have any sympathy for Wilder, he’s an absolute arsehole.
Sacking Wilder for Selles seems like a sideways step at best. However Wednesday are outdoing them in the basket case stakes at the minute.Players unpaid, manager desperate to leave, training pitches half renovated but without clear evidence of funds to finish the job, north stand at Hillsborough on the verge of being condemned, Owls in the park festival cancelled, and no match day revenue for another month plus. The transfer fee embargo hitting today is the least of their worries.Someone will step in and save them at some point but it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better for them. It's not the players who are the real victims though, it's the club staff who will be on 20-30k a year who will up shit creek.

Wilder wasn’t sacked because he’s useless, he was sacked because his methods didn’t align with how the owners want to operate.

Speaking to a Sheff U fan and Billys name is being tipped for a coaching role along side Wilder.

Has Billy got his coaching badges ?Would we ask for a transfer fee ?Would he want to end his playing career ?Also I if Chris Wilder does go back, which seems very likely, he’ll no doubt take Alan Knill with him as head coach/assistant manager and keep the coaching staff that is already there as he’ll have worked with most of them, including Gary McSheffrey
