Haks and Street would be in mine, just for the impact they had on their respective seasons.

Jacob Ramsey has to be in there as well. Matt Mills gets an honourable mention.

I’d go for Ian Bailey at full back. On loan from Middlesbrough I think and ended up doing well at Sheffield Wednesday. Genuine class who spent most of his career at a much higher level.

Yes goalkeeper wise Sam Johnstone is the one who could challenge Sully for the best keeper in a rovers shirt. Although we have seen some very good keepers over the years.

I remember looking at a list of every players who has been on loan with us when a similar post was made regarding loan players, whilst I could name many to pick a team, there were others who I had completely forgotten about.
It’s quite a list of players and lots of very good players at all stages of their careers, 5 who have not been mentioned would be
Seny Dieng
Mathew Kilgallon
Ryan Mason
Enda Steven’s
Harry Toffalo

Career wise you could argue Kirkland champions league winner after all..

Josh Sims deserves a mention. Was at least top-end Championship quality for us before that illness wrecked his career.

Surprised Jonathan Forte hasn't been mentioned given the amount of time he spent here and his goal in the JPT final.

I always liked Bongani Khumalo as well.

Ross McCormack always looked pretty handy to me and whilst he only scored a few for us, he went on to be rather prolific at Championship level.

There can't be many on that list of loanees who scored more goals and commanded more in transfer fees during their careers.

He's nowhere near McCormack in terms of goals but this made me think Jacob Ramsey must be our most valuable ex-loanee, surely? Was it £40m he went for?

Sims got a bad injury didn't he? It was Kiwomya who got the nasty illness. Unless I'm forgetting something.

Sims caught Covid which left him with a bowel and heart condition.

Ryan Mason looked excellent until he was injured with us, a few days after 'that' assault on Sharp at Brighton.

More easily compiled might be our worst loan signing 11.

1. Stuart Moore
2. Donervan Daniels
3. Todd Miller
4. Elliot Simoes
5. Max Woltman
6. Ephraim Yeboah
7. Mipo Odubeko
8. Rodrigo Vilca
9. Billy Waters
10. Conor Carty
11. Tiago Cukur

Mostly terrible forwards who failed to make any impact at all! Ethan Ennis is lucky to have avoided the starting 11.

He did have a few injuries but what seems to have done him in is a mix of long Covid, bowel, and heart issues. Did an interview about it a few years back. Unsure if those problems are all related or if he's just desperately unlucky.

Olusanya should be added to the list he should go back to Houston in January
Ajayi is young but unless he shows drastic improvement again January should be the cut off point.
This will allow us to sign another striker possibly would cost more in a loan fee.
Charlie Crew another young professional who hasn’t show what is required for a league midfielder.  We should let him go back to Leeds and bring back Flint who is playing regularly in the National League

The elusive Damien Plessis should be in that list, does he even exist?

It’s a worthy selection but surely Harry Worley earns a place at the back?
