I was at a Remembrance parade yesterday morning, standing next to a Reform councillor, who (despite this) is a decent bloke who I’m on friendly terms with.
He suddenly collapsed with a heart attack.
Luckily St Johns Ambulance people were on hand.
He’s doing OK in DRI.

I have to say the care I received on Coronary Care Unit was outstanding

As well as I could expect, had echocardiogram last week, the blood clot that was on my heart has now gone, the cardiologist has taken me off Apixaban and put me on Asprin and discharged me from Cardiology, two more sessions of cardio rehab to go and thats everything finished on that front. Just got to keep up the gentle exercise now and try and eat more healthily. What I will say, and I’m sure others that have been through similar events will agree, something like that affects you mentally, theres always doubts there
