What a great game of football that was, Rovers from 1 to 11 ( Plus the subs) all worked their n*ts off for 97 minutes and put in a magnificent effort against a team full of multi million pound players. We deserved to win end of.Late, late goal robbed us of a deserved point at least. It's disappointing but performances like that show we'll be alright come May - I'm proud of all the lads today
Well, after a performance like that, anyone who moans is truly not a genuine fan .They played very well, and that was a cruel blow because they deserved a point for sure .
It was an exciting game because mistakes by both teams were punished, the big conundrum to me is how does grehan get a game over Sterry? The goals we gave away when Grehan was just run past like a statue and tried to hang onto their player's shorts was amateurish as was O'Riordon getting the wrong side of an attacker and reacting slowly and showed his lack of pace. Defensively we were poor at the back and their players fancied running past us all the game. At the other end we did the same for a top side their defence looked no better than ours and were slow.
The TLT beaters are out in force but if Hanlan had put away his one on one, or Clifton hadn’t got over excited we’d have won/drawn it anyway. We win as a team and lose as a team. Gutted but proud of the team.
Whatever it was it didn't work

Sorry, but you can’t concede 4 goals and call it a great performance. Some of the defending was abysmal and if that continues will lead to relegation, no question. A lot of work to be done in January if we are to stay up,
Thought we were excellent.
The outfield players were magnificent.
