Keeping an eye on Port Vale too.  Lose tonight and they can't catch us.

I get the rovrum going down thing, but that’s a big home pay day gone.
Replaced by wendies I know. But I’d rather have both, for club coffers.

Any extra money we make from the numbers their fans bring is cancelled out by the fumigation costs needed for that stand after they’ve gone.

Down down, deeper and down

How the f*ck does Lee Clark ever get a job. He’s an absolutely terrible manager totally devoid of charisma and, it seems, management skills.

Lee Clark just stood on the side with his hands in his pockets. He didn’t seem to be encouraging, motivating or giving any instructions out

Clark has done a great job. Played 5 won 0 drawn 1 lost 4. Goals for 1 (a pen) goals against 10

Bollox to em, they loved back in 97 when Ken was ripping out club to bits. I dont care if its one less derby next season, get down and stay down.

Just seen a clip of Wigan's third goal. f**k me and i thought we had defensive issues this season. They need major surgery next year or they will have a miserable time of it in L2.

I agree NR, but there is also the possibility of Leicester coming down who are likely to fill the away end.

Wednesday will fill the away end. Rotherham incidentally didn't. Likely Wednesday fans will be all over the home end giving it large too.

The current top 3 of league 2 won't fetch 1000 between them.

Notts county need to get there and then one of Chesterfield or Grimsby ideally through the play offs

They haven’t got much to be giving it large about!

Remarkable interview from Clark here. Can tell he can't wait to bin them off at the end of the season, he barely even disguises it when he's asked directly if he wants to stay.
https://youtu.be/TOG6XCbwHxU

Openly calling out players for calling in sick and feigning injuries, slates them for getting Hamshaw sacked before him. Really toxic situation there, it seems. Never heard a manager give an interview like it.

To be honest I thought it was quite a good interview in the circumstances!
No point beating around the bush!

I read it differently in that I think he would take the job if offered, but he didn’t want to presume he would get that offer.

Rotherham’s decline has been dramatic hasn’t it? Relegated from the Championship just two years ago.
This season, they beat Lincoln in November during a 9-match unbeaten run but since then have won only 3 out of 27 games.

That’s some collapse.

It's definitely a good interview - don't rate Clark as a manager but you can at least tell he cares. To me it's the sort of interview you only give if you know you aren't hanging around, but we'll see. Surely there is no coming back when you openly call out players for pulling a sickie in the build-up to a game.

Their decline was summed up in an image I saw last night. It was a shot of the away end at Wigan a couple of years back, looking fairly full. The other half of the image was the same away end last night, with 150 fans in it.

t would be sad if it wasn't that lot.

Listening to him it sounds so like Rovers when we were relegated - I thought Woody could have got the togetherness going there
Wonder if he’ll be considered as next manager or even if he’d consider it

Good interview that. Said all the right things.
He should be given the chance to turn things round.
