My 2 Rotherham supporting colleagues are expecting another relegation next year.
For the last 4 League Two seasons (including 25/26) the average finishing position of teams relegated from League One the season before is 15th.2 of the 12 of that sample group (Forest Green and Carlisle) suffered back to back relegations, despite having decent financial backing.I wonder why clubs struggle to cope?
It's a shocking league, much worse this last time we were there than the time before. Which was only a few years apart.

I don't think the quality of football has improved but the physical levels and professionalism have. When we were in the Conference not every club was full time but in recent years, we've seen the strength of lower leagues grow.
General consensus in their fanbases is that it'll be Paul Simpson with Steve McClaren as director of football. Seems a bizarre one.
