What do we think are the chances of signing teddy sharman lowe or tlt permanently, and who would we prefer?

Teddy was getting on the bench for Chelsea recently. No chance he's coming back.

I wouldn’t be disappointed if we got TLT on a permanent.

Sounds like she’s gone full 'Park the Bus.' Time to work on your set-piece routine

Given our recruitment policy, it looks pretty likely you would think that we are going to sign TLT. Or failing that, Lawlor.

The York keeper is not very good, TLT far better keeper.

OK - that's your opinion not fact - appears he has been a bit good over the last two years...

Goals conceded stats are always a bit pointless in terms of how good a goalkeeper is. What’s the level like? What quality of players do they have in front of them? How many shots are they facing? Is the team set up any good?

Everton have been close to relegation over the last few years and have conceded plenty, which doesn’t look good on Pickford, yet he’s been easily Everton’s best and most important players and one of the better premier league goalkeepers.

He's come a long way already and will have a ceiling, potentially where he is now. He's quite small for a keeper and there were question marks raised about claiming crosses and strength in the six yard box.

Clean sheet stats at York have been really good but League 1 is another massive step up.  I'd think he'd be a risk.

Baseless arguments really... He has performed at a level not too far below where we were last year and was a stand out performer.  I'm not sure what people really expect....

Hopefully York's keeper feels the needs to follow Andy (Andy, Andy, Andy) Warrington's career path.

Totally agree. I thought he looked a class act and way more competent than TLT.

The keeper I’d heard we were after hasn’t been mentioned yet!

Before anyone asks, no I can’t say anything.

Jon McCracken? Heard nothing myself on the goalkeeper front but Scotland is a market Letheren seems to have eyes on and contacts in. Out of contract and read a few weeks back that there was interest from EFL clubs. Thought straight away that screams us.

He had interest from Celtic and Championship clubs.

I’m not arguing with you far from it, I’m offering my opinion that he’s not good enough for us.

I’m happy to elaborate. First thing is I’ve seen him play and far from convincing when commanding his area. Secondly York statistically were near the bottom of the league for goals conceded from set pieces. Thirdly and last of all, in an interview with York’s chairman highlighted that it was a key area they needed to improve. 2 days after the interview, the keeper got released.

They are the reasons I initially said I’d disappointed if he signed. If York don’t think he good enough got league 2 then we should not be looking at him, IF we have of course.

Just to add spice - GM is at the stadium, I’m being told.
