Wasn’t Martin Woods another willing MEMBER of the production
This is confusing i read that he's signed a 2.5 year deal, but it looks like a loan, can anyone enlighten me please
Signed three year deal with Town last year and on £17k a week, allegedly, and agreed reduced terms so as to be near his family for personal reasons

Sounded bloody horrific. No wonder he hasn’t quite been at it the last season or so. He needs us to show him some love.
He doesn’t really change so I doubt he will but the majority of last season was painful watching Billy chase the shadows of League 1 defenders.Cast your minds back to January… he brought in a 6 foot physical centre forward (who would’ve played every game if not for injury), so clearly realised we needed more of that up there. But now 5’8 Alfie is gonna do that job? It just doesn’t really make sense does it? I think Alfie will offer us something, just not in the ‘9’ role the way we play.It felt like there were 21 other players on the pitch that day at Peterborough who wanted Billy Sharp to bag 4 and it was a real “last game of the season” affair. We wont be getting that for a season with level of personnel we’ve got in L1 under normal circumstances. Class away day though!

God knows what im going to do from now on. If you can get one ounce of positivity around May has always played and scored as 9 and scored 20 goals in league 1, now for me thats a positive. It gets so boring when every bit of positive is dragged to the floor and beyond straight away, it seems you love a debate, but it isnt a debate, its you taking it to the enth degree so people have to debate, its just a silly position to start. It doesn't make any sense not being positive about signing May with his credentials, where he has played and what he has achieved. At least level it off a bit.
The ability of our defenders to play out from the back and a striker like May is incompatible. Amazed anyone would argue otherwise.Happy a player with his pedigree & CV is desperate to sign for us, but the idea of Byrne & Pearson hoofing it in his vague direction on the half way line sends shivers down my spine.

I dont get it though, Mccann has mentioned another striker, wait to see. Lets enjoy the May signing and wait, not just go all negative around it. Its hard to enjoy all things rovers when its hust dragged down straight away. We should be dead chuffed about the signing and enjoy it. Niw wait for more signings.
I think he’s here not elsewhere because he wants to be (well durrr, but you know what I mean) so doubt if there even is a recall clause that he will ditch us for somebody else.
