Cod Fingers?  They are called Fish Fingers over here, you know! ;-)

I thought Cod Fingers was the result of a pull in Cleethorpes?

A week at my sister's on Cape Cod!  Fingers crossed for good weather, as the last few summers have been rainy.

Are you fond of sand dunes and salty air?

Quaint little villages here and there...

Don't know how to quote another post, but anyway we call fish fingers 'fish sticks'.  And when you were a kid if you said it fast  it sounds like fish d*cks  ;-)

Thanks for the positive write up on Marmaris

It`s just my opinion mate, you may enjoy it, but if you get the chance take the boat over to Rhodes Island, a far cleaner place and the people on there have got manners unlike the dirty slimeball Turks. Have a day on the Jeep safari as well but be prepared to get wet through and black bright  B)

Another thing I`ve just remembered about Marmaris, we were walking down the street one day and coming in the opposite direction was a Turkish woman wearing one of those robe type things that Muslim women wear, she just squatted down for a minute or two and then got up and walked off leaving a pool of liquid on the pavement, it appears she just had a piss in the street in the middle of the day, dirty Turks!   B)

Lovely.

What you have said about the people are exactly what i was told about it at work, but still fancied giving it a go. From what I remember there were no dirty buggers pissing in the street in Sidari though.

If your going to try Turkey try Hisaranu or Oualdanis. Fetea is the main resort (think I've spelt that right) and well worth the visit (only 10 mins in a dolmus) (bus. If you are thinking of All Inclusive I would reccommend Egypt but not in July or August gets to hot to go out of the hotel somedays.

One place not to go is GAMBIA. Dont go near the place its bloody awful honest.

Just as a matter of interest...anyone on here been to Cape Verdi Islands..I understand it's quite nice good hotels, food & Beaches.

Anyone travelling to Ibiza should definitely get the ferry over and visit Formentera. Beautiful little island with white sands and glorious seas. You need to hire a bike or a car to see the whole of the Island. Not many hotels capital is called San Fransisco.

Going to Ibiza in June (Es Cana Town). If your going Keep your eyes peeled we may just meet up.

Regards

Ray

Good call. I went on that site when i went to the dom republic 3 years ago. The hotel we booked had a mixed report, but when we went it was good. Amazing how some people go away, looking for something to moan about!!! They must be a barrel of laughs at home!!! lol

If anyone is coming downunder, in particular to Queensland, let me know and I'll gladly offer some Aussie hospitality.

Cheers

Phil
