Certainly an interesting game with your current home form. In answer to some of your questions. If we take you likely we will get beaten without a doubt. We are going to need to be on our game. Our whole system works as a counter attacking team and we will look to soak up pressure and hit you on the break at speed. That works very well with Zaha, if he is missing, which appears likely we may not be as incisive as usual. We are better away from home because of that. We struggle at home to break teams down.Roy studies the opposition at length and will have a plan, we don’t take anyone likely, however we have a few injuries, suspensions and cup tied players so I expect 5/6 changes from our 1st team but like all premier league team there is a lot of quality on the bench so a strong team is assured. The bookies have us strong favorites but I see it much closer than that. First goal absolutely crucial. We score first then the counter attack is so much easier. You score first, the players and crowd will be up for it and we will struggle to break you down without Zaha.It really is a great cup tie. Sold out game, atmosphere will be electric from both sets of fans (we are a noisy lot) as I am sure you will be. Looking forward to Sunday. Will update re likely team once news filters through re injuries and confirmation of suspensions. What about you? Who are your star players? Players to watch? Weaknesses?
PFIP -Marquis was with Millwall for years but never really got a look in and was loaned out left, right and centre
Rumour down our end that Marquis is an Orpington boy. Sarf London born and bred and a Palace fan. Not sure where that rumour was started. Anyone know his background?
We look to dominate the ball and look after it. Our players are adept (for our level) at taking the ball in tight situations and comfortably using it to bring others into play. I think the game is a good benchmark of where we are in that development process. I've seen Palace on telly quite a few times this season and even when the results weren't particularly coming early in the season you looked a decent side, just out of luck at certain times. If we can go toe to toe with you and hold our head high after the game I'll be happy. I predict a close game with goals, and both teams to score. 2-1 either way feels about right.

Not sure where that rumour was started. Anyone know his background? He's from Lewisham. I'm not 100 per cent sure where - and as a Rovers fan who lives in Lewisham I'm keen to know - but think he's much more likely to be Millwall than Palace.
I have a feeling that Palace will rest about half of their regular starting eleven but will feel that the players they bring in will be strong enough to beat us.They will have some “insurance” on the bench in case things don’t go the way they expected.
I'd rather play their best team at this stage. I want a win and I think we can give anyone a game, but I'd be disappointed if Palace didn't respect us enough to play their best players, or at least enough of them where they are showing they want to win the competition.

To be honest there really isn't much difference between the '1st' eleven and bench players in most Premier League squads. Look at Man City, I never know who Pep thinks are his 1st eleven as he changes it all the time. Ask Palace fans whether Meyer should be in instead of McArthur and you will get different answers from each. We may play some bench players but they will largely be enforced. Zaha suspended, Tomkins and Kouyate both been injured so may not be risked. The only changes that would be seen as negative would be in defence where he has preferred Ward, Kelly and Dann over Wan-Bisaka (what a prospect he is , really hope he plays) Tomkins and Sakho. Whatever team we put out will be very competitive.

If they play their first team we have say a 10-20% chance of winning, but for every first team regular they rest that increases a few per cent.Them resting half the first team doesn’t mean disrespect, as Hound says above they will expect to progress with the team they put out. If we were playing in the cup at, say, Solihull Moors and May, Rowe, Butler, Sadlier and Lawlor came in would you say we aren’t showing them enough respect?
