Viking Chat / Re: The Ex Player Thread« Last post by DMnumber4 on Today at 12:29:21 am »I watched Brandon Fleming play for Derry City my local team Shamrock Rovers yesterday. He played well although Rovers won comfortably enough in the end. Good documentary on how this happened if you can find it - https://northernirelandscreen.co.uk/news/filming-in-northern-ireland/new-documentary-about-the-return-of-derry-city-fc-to-air-on-bbc-ni/ 14
Viking Chat / Re: Huddersfield Town« Last post by DonnyBazR0ver on January 19, 2026, 10:22:27 pm »Are Huddersfield going to get the new manager bounce, just when we have a couple of games against them on the horizon. We owe them one after dominating them at their place, when our early season form was good. Hopefully we'll be back to that level. 15
Viking Chat / Re: Forum« Last post by EasyforDennis on January 19, 2026, 10:19:20 pm »If people are serious about a new fans forum it should be a clean sweep with none of the current mods etc etc involved.Isn’t that throwing the baby out with the bathwater? There are quite a few names you don't see on the forum anymore. Quite a few of them as a result of being banned. 16

Sad GazLaz disciple. Let’s move on. I hope you can take more positives form this horrible experience & not dwell too much on the negatives Avesuptem. You did all you could to ensure your brother was protected within that stadium given your tickets were issued on the basis of your postcode, Your invaluable description of events along with the limited video footage I have seen will hopefully see one more moron identified & banned from future games. This is the sort of thing I witnessed from so called Rovers fans 3/4 seasons ago in the Rotherham away end. Fifty year old something fathers with their children aged less than teens shouting “Scum & paedo” vitriol to Rotherham supporters with the obvious intent of ‘blooding their youngsters’ into this ongoing circle of unwarranted hate. It doesn’t belong in our society to anyone with an ounce of integrity for their children’s & the worlds ‘well being’. Let’s make sure it doesn’t ‘breed’ in our football world. 18

An atrocious combination.I remember us wearing it when we beat Barnsley away 1-0. I think Stan Anderson might have just become manager then. I remember us being crap up to then and fearing re election as we were so near the bottom. |
