Not necessarily a pub per say, and dunno if it's been mentioned on here yet, but the drinking hole that I really do miss and will miss again at 1:30pm today is The Toad opposite the Keepmoat.
I bought my first ever quarter of interesting stuff to smoke in Beethams! Eight quid it cost me. Lol. I'm getting old.... (And yes. I did mean a quarter).BobG
Forgot to mention George on Wheatley Hall Rd how remiss seems as I used to play Sunday league for them - would have thought it was a listed building but not thing goneTalking of listed buildings mines rescue place was definitely listed but still flattened
Of course not Sproty. (cough, cough)
I used to work in the Blue Bell on Baxtergate in my youth. Fine pub sadly gone in the 80's. think it lasted a couple more years as a poncy bar called The Garden Bar but in its heyday I loved The Blue Bell.
