It's a plan that makes lemmings look sensible?

Fighting like rats in a sack in the Eurozone , I don't see much evidence of solidarity over there .

When push comes to shove its every country for itself .

Absolutely insane.

We are forecast to lose 13% of GDP this year which is an amount that no-one alive has ever experienced.

Not in the GFC
Not in Maggie's mini-depression in 1980-82 that put 4 million out of work.
Not in the Great Depression.

And on top of that, Brexit is forecast to cut another 4-8% off GDP.

Absolutely insane.

It's like someone having a heart attack and saying they need to discharge themselves from hospital because the doctors won't let them slash their wrists.

Think of the Bonanza episode Tyke where the neighbours are giving the Cartwright's grief and Hoss wants to ride out and sort them out, but Ben has some wise words and asks little Joe to break a pencil in half-which he does but then he asks him to break a bunch of pencils which he can't ''so you see Hoss (says Ben) if the family sticks together like the pencils we'll overcome the problems''

Sticking together would be the Germans and the Dutch sticking it to Italy and Spain with more austerity pie to eat whilst their already fragile economies totally collapse because of the pandemic and their so called support .

Terrific !!!!!! .
